Projects of wooden houses 9 by 6. Finishing the terrace, if the project includes it

When building a private house, many people wonder how to properly plan the usable area of the building. Let's look at possible layout designs for a house measuring 6 by 9 square meters.

Peculiarities

The layout of the house should be designed so that its entire area is used as much as possible. Then in the smallest building you will be able to accommodate everything necessary for a family’s life, making the rooms as comfortable as possible in everyday life.

Houses size 6x9 sq. m is usually classified as economy class, since for a private home these are rather modest dimensions. Although, if you compare such a home with a standard two-room apartment in which most of us live, the house will not seem so small, since its area will be slightly larger than a standard “kopeck piece”.

Materials

Private houses measuring 6 by 9 square meters. m. are made from different materials.

Log

Here, an ordinary log can be used in the old fashioned way, from which the bark has simply been removed. Such dwellings were built in ancient times. They are one-story buildings and are made in the form of a five-wall structure - that is, they consist of five walls. They divide the house into two rooms - a kitchen and a living room, one of which is a walk-through room.

Nowadays, calibrated logs are increasingly used. It has the correct cylinder shape, such houses are easy and quick to assemble. Dwellings made of rounded logs can be either one-story or have two floors, similar to European chalets.

This material is considered environmentally friendly and safe for health. The walls perfectly retain heat and do not let it out. At the same time, it is not hot in such a house even in summer. It creates the effect of a thermos.

The disadvantage of such a home is that wood is highly flammable, and in the event of a fire, your home will burn completely. Also, various bugs can get into the wood and ruin it. In addition, natural wood can rot from constant exposure to moisture.

timber

Recently, frame houses are being built more and more often. They are based on timber made from natural wood. The walls themselves are made of shields. For these purposes, wooden lining, flat slate panels and other materials are used. A layer of insulation is laid between the external and internal walls. Typically, the material used is URSA, which has excellent thermal insulation properties and is completely safe.

The disadvantages of such a house are the same as those of a log dwelling. In addition, mice can live in the space where the insulation is laid and establish their burrows there with their broods. It is quite problematic to get them out of there.

Brick

This is a rather expensive material, but it also meets all safety requirements for human health. Brick houses are durable and reliable. They are not afraid of either moisture or fire. They don’t need to be finished on the outside; they will look quite aesthetically pleasing anyway. Brick walls“breathe”, so in a house made of this material it is not hot in summer and not cold in winter. The brick also provides high level soundproofing. It does not rot, insects do not eat it, mice do not gnaw it.

Blocks

Recently, it has been quite a popular material for the construction of private houses. This is due to the fact that the blocks are quite large, but at the same time quite light; houses from them can be built quickly, with minimal waste of cement mortar and labor.

Initially, the blocks were not of very high quality and quickly collapsed under the influence of sunlight, so they had to be immediately covered with a protective coating in the form of eurolining or plaster.

Now this material has quite high quality. It withstands ultraviolet radiation very well. But houses made of blocks are not warm enough and have good sound conductivity, so external walls require additional insulation and sound insulation.

Types of houses and possible layouts

Despite the variety of materials, the house has an area of 6x9 sq. m can be of three types.

Single storey

This is the simplest building, having a single-level arrangement of all rooms, the total area of which is 54 square meters. m. Such a house is quite economical in terms of equipping it with heating, a sewerage system and other communications.

Here it will be enough to plan only one bathroom, so it will be possible to have only one water inlet and sewer drain.

To heat such a house, it is enough to install a stove or fireplace with radiators connected to it; a boiler with low power is also suitable. Here you can even do without a pump, since the water pressure will be quite enough to heat such a small room.

Since the area of the home is quite small, it is best to use standard recommendations.

First of all, you should decide on the location of residential and non-residential premises. So, for the bedroom, kitchen and living room it is better to choose the south side of the building, then your rooms will be illuminated by the sun as much as possible, and you can save on electricity.

In order to prevent the cold from immediately entering the home, it is recommended to equip the so-called canopy or vestibule. But this room can also be used. Usually it is equipped as a hallway, with a wardrobe for outerwear and shelves for shoes. Remember that there must be a tightly closing door between the house itself and the vestibule, then you can retain maximum heat in your home.

In such a small house, you cannot waste square meters by organizing a large hall or many corridors. Everything should be arranged quite compactly here.

Typically, a one-story house allows you to place a living room, a kitchen, one or two bedrooms, a bathroom and a vestibule.

Here are some examples of different layouts.

  • Here it is proposed to make the living room, bedroom and kitchen of the same size - 12.3 square meters. m. In relation to the hall, the kitchen is located on one side, the bedroom and living room on the other. The bathroom is located right along the corridor. This layout is well suited for people of retirement age who do not have so many guests that they can be accommodated in a small living room. In addition, in such a layout you can always convert the hall into another bedroom, and receive guests in a fairly spacious kitchen.

  • IN this option, as is now fashionable, the kitchen is combined with the living room. And space has been allocated for two small bedrooms. At the same time, the hallway is quite small, which will only allow you to put a small set where you can put away outerwear and shoes.

  • If you are setting up a small country house, you can even place a small sauna in it. It's quite convenient. The plan of such a house is similar to the first option, only the kitchen and living room are located on one side of the hall, and the shower room with steam room is on the other. This way you clearly divide your home into residential and non-residential areas, making it convenient to use.

Double decker

Such a house is a structure of full two floors with straight walls and a horizontal ceiling.

Here the layout could be as follows:

  • The layout of the first floor is practically no different from a one-story building, only there is a staircase in the hall, and the bathroom is located under it. On the second floor there are two fairly spacious bedrooms. In this layout, it is recommended to place the children's room on the ground floor. This will be safer for children who may play too hard and fall down the stairs.

  • The foundation is support-column. 2 blocks per cabinet (for one-story houses) and 4 blocks per cabinet on a cement screed (for houses with an attic). Concrete blocks, solid, size 200x200x400 mm. The cabinets are installed on a compacted sand bed. Sand (PGS) is provided by the customer.
  • An open terrace (if any) on supports made of planed timber with a cross-section of 100*150 mm, with shrinkage jacks. The fencing is a handrail made of planed timber with a cross-section of 40*100 mm. Steps at the entrance.

Many of us dream of our own country house, where we can relax from the bustle of the city. Among the huge variety of types of residential buildings, the most attractive and budget-friendly is a house with an attic. The main reason for its popularity on the Internet and in specialized magazines is the possibility of “doubling” living space using an attic with a minimum of construction costs.

Before starting construction work, you need to develop a design project for the future attic structure. Today you can find a huge number of interesting country real estate projects that suit different tastes, lifestyles and income levels.

Peculiarities

A house with an attic 6 by 9 meters is one of the most attractive structures for construction country house. Despite its apparent simplicity, this design allows you to implement interesting, original and practical ideas in the interior, as well as use a wide variety of building materials.

When creating a project, some features are taken into account, for example, the need for enhanced thermal insulation and waterproofing, since the roof of such a house is most susceptible to temperature changes, while the living area is located directly below it.

When designing a house with an attic measuring 6 by 9 meters, it is necessary to correctly determine the living area, plan the location of rooms and communications. At first glance, 54 m2 does not seem very spacious, but with proper design they can be used rationally by choosing the option of designing a house with a second attic floor. This will create a two-story house that will comfortably accommodate all family members and guests.

In practice, the size of the attic is much smaller than the area of the first floor, but you can still design two rooms on it at once.

It is necessary to approach the solution of the task very responsibly and thoroughly. You may need to use the services of professional builders and designers who will provide consultations and help you avoid mistakes when designing and organizing the space of the future building. In this case, it is necessary to take into account all the features and try not to miss a single detail. Thus, errors in installing communications are possible if they are not carefully thought through in advance, before construction begins.

Particular attention should be paid to the materials from which the future house will be built. Today, country houses built from timber, which is an environmentally friendly material and more affordable than natural wood, are in increasing demand. This material will please those who care about their health, plan to save money, but at the same time want to build a reliable home for many years.

Let's take a closer look at the main pros and cons of houses with attics. Design projects of this type of house are of great interest due to their inherent advantages:

  • rational design of the attic floor can increase the living space of a country house by almost 2 times;
  • the use of easily accessible communications that can be easily raised from the ground floor;
  • heat preservation throughout the house due to the insulated attic used;
  • the attic floor can be arranged and how non-residential premises, for example, design an office, gym or billiards there.

Let's consider the disadvantages of attic houses taken into account during their construction:

  • excessive savings on materials and ignoring the simplest operating rules, as a rule, provoke overload and destroy load-bearing structures;
  • special roof windows are quite expensive;
  • a lot of snow in winter time may reduce the level of natural light in the attic.

You will learn more about the advantages and disadvantages of houses with an attic by watching the following video.

Subtleties of planning

The internal layout of a country house with a 6x9 meter attic includes a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. These are the three main rooms that must be present in the project.

As a rule, the largest area in the house is in the living room, where the whole family gathers around a large table or receives guests. To save space, you can combine the living room and kitchen, and to increase the free space between them, you can use an arch, which will serve as a zoning room.

If there are more than 3 people in a family, then in order for everyone to have enough space and be comfortable and cozy, the construction of a second floor will be required. In a two-story 6x9 house, the bedroom can be placed upstairs, but the bathroom is usually located downstairs.

In this case, special attention should be paid to designing the staircase so that it fits organically into the interior and does not look like foreign body. Of greatest interest when creating a plan for a country house are spiral solutions and staircases with a large angle of inclination.

The space under the stairs can be converted into a storage room, in which you can place seasonal items, preserves stored for the winter, or household appliances. In the space between the steps you can organize small drawers for storing shoes or little-used items. These boxes can be decorated with LED strips.

Designers believe that in small houses, the optimal color solution is to use light shades and mirror surfaces, which visually expand and enlarge the space. In this case, roller or light curtains are used on the windows.

In houses with a small area, it is better to limit the amount of furniture and not clutter the space.

The organization of attic lighting depends on the number and location of windows. So, if the windows of a country house face the sunny side, and daylight– intense enough, then general lighting will be quite sufficient. For rooms with a small number of windows or without them, it is entirely advisable to organize multi-level lighting (ceiling, wall and floor lamps) with the ability to adjust its intensity.

House layout 6 by 9 for a small suburban area.

Houses 6 by 9 are mainly intended for a family of two or three people. This is also an excellent option for seasonal living. In this case, you can refuse any amenities in the house: do not build a toilet or kitchen, but use the usable area for other rooms.

has only one entrance. It is located at the front of the house, starting from the porch. You can simply change garden furniture if necessary, and it will perform a specific function and role each time. You can enjoy the surrounding nature while sitting on the porch with a cup of tea on a warm summer evening.

Interior layout of the house

First floor

This layout of an economical house begins immediately with the vestibule (2.31 sq. m.) and the living room (18.58 sq. m.). To decorate it, you should use light shades so that the room seems filled with light. There is enough space, so you can arrange all the necessary furniture. The first step is to take time to arrange upholstered furniture, after the TV and other household appliances. At the very end, it’s worth deciding where you can place cabinets for storing various items and clothes.

From the living room you can go to the kitchen (5.16 sq. m.). These two rooms are separated from each other by a small arch, which we recommend painting in a bright color for emphasis. It is worthwhile to provide good lighting in the kitchen so that you can work comfortably even in evening time. There should also be a dining table with chairs.

The house has a bathroom (1.2 sq. m.) and a shower room (1.85 sq. m.). If necessary, it is possible to install the required household appliances. Also a feature of this house is the steam room (7.26 sq. m.) The design of this room deserves special attention. Only high-quality wood and environmentally friendly materials are used.

Attic floor interior

You can get to it using the stairs. A large room covering the entire second floor (16.35 sq. m.) can be used at the request of the owners. It is recommended to equip it as a bedroom. Such a space requires special attention, as it is large. As finishing colors, you should use colors that are closest to the color of natural wood.

There are small windows on the second floor, which makes it impossible to do without additional lighting sources during the day. As decoration for windows, it is worth using light tulle curtains that will not visually reduce the space. Additional lighting should be selected so that the entire room is illuminated, and not just some areas of the floor.

This country house has two floors. The entrance to it begins with a small porch covered with green plants. It is recommended to set up a small garden nearby, which will highlight the attractive appearance of the house, and where you can create a flower bed with beautiful flowers. In addition to the central one, there is an emergency exit located at the back of the house. It also starts with a small porch and leads into the yard.

  • small Gym;
  • or greenhouse;
  • an office for working in a private environment.

Material of main walls and partitions:

  • The main walls of the house are profiled timber, solid coniferous timber, natural moisture timber
