The country house is located in the back of the site, so even the front doors and the transom above them have glazing

The customers, a married couple with two daughters, turned to the architect Svetlana Gerasimova for help: they needed to master the space they had already purchased in finished form (for finishing). It should be noted that structurally the object differed from most private buildings, since the construction of its walls used the column-and-beam method, which is usually in demand in multi-storey construction.

The essence of the technology is as follows. First, the supporting frame of the building is erected - it consists of reinforced concrete columns and horizontal reinforced concrete beams-crossbars, which are embedded in the floor slabs (they are cast on the spot in a removable formwork). A monolithic wind wall is also provided - it connects three capital columns that do not lie in the same plane, and can be located anywhere, which increases the rigidity of the frame and significantly increases the number of possible volumetric and spatial solutions.

The chimney of a wood-burning fireplace is closed with a rectangular box and lined ceramic tiles, the texture of which imitates wood. A slightly more massive base is lined with "aged" clinker bricks

The height of the ceiling on the first floor - 3.4 m - made it possible to use hemmed plasterboard structures to accentuate the desired areas

The outer walls are laid out with bricks (in our case, the laying was carried out in one and a half full-bodied bricks, with mineral wool insulation) and finished (they used decorative plaster, wooden board and ). The internal walls are erected after the completion of the main construction - according to the preferred volumetric and spatial solution.

Heavy curtains were chosen to decorate the windows, blocking daylight if necessary. A couple of them are horizontal blinds with wooden slats.

General-purpose premises are designed in a single style, which, coupled with the absence of doors in the interior openings, creates the effect of flowing space.

The walls near the stairs and in the halls adjacent to it were lined with clinker bricks.

The composition of the family suggested the logic of the layout to the architect: everyone together needed a representative zone, and each individually needed a private space. The common premises were located on the first floor, with a good half of it allocated to the kitchen and dining-living room (more than 72 m²). Private rooms - combined with bathrooms or bathrooms, have been raised to the second level. We can say that their total footage determined the age of family members. So, the parents' bedroom, to which the bathroom is adjacent from different sides, occupied about 50 m², about 40 m² were taken under the room of the eldest daughter and the adjacent wet zone, the children's younger daughter and the bathroom combined with it were located on 25 m².

Manufacturer's choice kitchen set- Berloni - remained unchanged: domestic manufacturers found to replace produced either more expensive or similar furniture

Private rooms have a different design: the girl's bedroom is elegant and romantic, the parent's bedroom is respectable, the children's bedroom is cheerful and playful.

The design scenario of the wet areas is correlated with the decor of the adjoining bedrooms.

We have known our customers for about 20 years, and before that we already had joint, successfully completed projects. In general, they prefer the classics, but they wanted to make this house, I quote, “in some other style.” I had a business trip to one of the factories of the Porcelanosa Grupo group of companies, because of which I was forced to take a time out. As it turned out, not in vain - a visit to one of the largest European productions and porcelain stoneware became a source of inspiration for me. We can say that this project is a tribute to the factory, its style. It is noteworthy that my idea and implementation completely coincided. The owner trusted my taste, however, at his request, Russian analogues were selected for those pieces of furniture that were produced in Europe.

The staircase is also illuminated by natural light coming through the skylights.

The small room of the youngest daughter is visually expanded by panoramic French windows and doors to the balcony.

Wet rooms are designed in such a way that each has an accent wall

The architect successfully experiments with textures, complementing the "marble" cladding with furniture with facades with the effect of embossing

in two private wet areas bathtubs are placed, a shower corner is installed in the bathroom of the youngest daughter

The ancient wisdom of the Dakota Indian tribe says that if you find yourself riding a dead horse, best strategy- jump off it.
However, in business, it seems that we often try to use other strategies with a dead horse, including the following:
1. We buy a stronger whip
2. Changing riders
3. We say “We always rode a horse in this way” ...

1. Feeling sorry for yourself.

Poverty-minded people feel sorry for themselves and believe that being rich is not destined for them. Someone feels sorry for being born a woman (because men have more opportunities), someone feels sorry for themselves for a full figure (because slender people get better jobs), someone mourns their height, nationality, skin color , the religion of their ancestors, some people feel sorry for themselves that they still have not married and have not married, others cry because of a ring on their ring finger or because of a divorce stamp, young people see the source of problems in inexperience, the elderly - in their age. What do you think, if a person feels sorry for himself because of some unimportant fact and focuses on it all day, how will the people around him act? Feeling sorry for yourself is a great way to find a multi-ton anchor that will stop you on the path of personal development and ensure eternal poverty ...

5. Don't go back to the people who betrayed you. They don't change.

Once a very experienced and successful businessman was asked why he never advises newcomers on what business to start or does not evaluate the prospects of their projects.

He answered like this:

Sometimes I see projects that, as I know for sure, I will be able to implement, but I am not at all sure that the person who offers them to me will succeed. And sometimes they present projects to me ...

In a poor village, a boy was born. He spent his days mindlessly, mechanically and monotonously, like the rest of the inhabitants of this dying village, having no idea what to do with own life. And one fine night he dreamed of the sea. None of the villagers had ever seen the sea, so no one could confirm that such boundless water exists somewhere in the world.

modern parable

A group of graduates of a prestigious university, successful, having made a wonderful career, came to visit their old professor. During the visit, the conversation turned to work: graduates complained about numerous difficulties and life problems.

Parable of unknown origin

Once upon a time, an old man revealed to his grandson one vital truth:

In every person there is a struggle, very similar to the struggle of two wolves. One wolf represents evil: envy, jealousy, regret, selfishness, ambition, lies. The other wolf represents goodness: peace, love, hope, truth, kindness and loyalty.

The grandson, touched to the depths of his soul by the words of his grandfather, thought, and then asked:

Parable as narrated by Osho

You cannot be anyone else, but only who you are. Relax! Existence needs you just like that.

Once the king came to the garden and saw withering and dying trees, bushes and flowers. The oak said that he was dying because he could not be as tall as a pine. Turning to the pine tree, the king found it falling down because it could not produce grapes like a vine.

Parable of unknown origin

One day, two sailors set off on a journey around the world to find their destiny. They sailed to the island, where the leader of one of the tribes had two daughters. The eldest is beautiful, and the youngest is not very.

One of the sailors said to his friend:

That's it, I found my happiness, I stay here and marry the leader's daughter.

Yes, you are right, eldest daughter leader - beauty, clever. You did right choice- get married.

You misunderstood me, friend! I am marrying the chief's youngest daughter.

Are you crazy? She's like... not so much.

Christian parable

One day a man had a dream. He dreamed that he was walking along a sandy shore, and next to him was the Lord. Pictures from his life flashed in the sky, and after each of them he noticed two chains of footprints in the sand: one from his feet, the other from the feet of the Lord.

As the last picture of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. And he saw that often only one chain of footprints stretched along his life path.

modern parable

The professor of philosophy, standing in front of his audience, took a five-liter glass jar and filled it with stones, each at least three centimeters in diameter.

At the end, he asked the students if the jar was full?

Answered: yes, full.

Then he opened a jar of peas and poured its contents into a large jar, shaking it a little.

Dress codes for successful mimicry in the society of businessmen, hipsters, bohemians, ambassadors and grandmothers.

There are many ways to “recognize by clothes”, and descriptions of individual codes like Business Traditional, White Tie or Semi-formal, if desired, can be found both on the Internet and in fashion magazines. Nevertheless, this does not exempt from daily practical questions: what to wear to DEZ or to the premiere at the Bolshoi, how to dress when going to a hipster cafe or visiting the boss? The "Russian Reporter" selected and analyzed ten "problematic" life situations.

1. Tolerate what you don't like.

2. Associate with people who kill your self-esteem.

3. Think about what others will say.

4. Try to keep everything under control.

5. Go with the flow and take the path of least resistance.

6. Keep your opinion and all feelings to yourself.

Catch phrases "12 chairs"

When ancient man for the first time he took a stick in his hands, he accepted unusual solution. Unusual solutions drive progress: people make discoveries, experiment, discover new lands. Unusual solutions are the fastest lead to- when a hundred people run in one direction, one, figuratively speaking, mounts a horse, and faster than others reaches.

Once, in one English educational institution, namely in Royal Academy , the teacher wanted to give the lowest grade to one student.

The exam was in physics, and the question was: How to measure the height of a building with a barometer? »

The student replied: "You need to go up to the roof, lower the barometer down the rope, and then measure the length of the rope."

The case was difficult - the answer was correct, but not the one given to the teacher in order to get a good mark. The student was asked to answer once more and was warned that the answer must demonstrate knowledge of physical laws.

Several minutes passed. The student stated that he had several answers, like measure the height of a building with a barometer, namely:

Then the student was asked - does he really not know the generally accepted solution. The student replied that of course he knew, but he was tired of school and college, where teachers impose their way of thinking.

This student was Niels Bohr, the great Danish physicist.

Now tell me, didn’t it sometimes seem to you that in schools and institutes it was really better to give the teacher not only the correct answer, but also the one needed for a good grade? ABOUT unusual solutions there was not even a word to say. It happened to me, and more than once.

Logic task for kids 4th grade, from a modern textbook:

Oleg, Sergey and Igor bought cookies, sweets and waffles. When they came home, they told their mother the following: - I bought cookies, - said Oleg - I didn’t buy cookies, - Sergey said - I didn’t buy sweets, - said Igor

What did each of them buy if only one of them is known to have told the truth?

The problem is solved by the selection method. Correct answer: Igor told the truth - he bought waffles, Sergey bought cookies, Oleg bought sweets.

But is this the only answer? Maybe there is some unusual solution? I can tell right away there is at least one more correct solution for this problem! You can search for this unusual solution, write the answer in the comments, and at the same time suggest your interesting problems and their unusual solutions in the comments too.

In most existing room styles, there are rules prescribed by designers that must be followed in order to implement them. Everything has been thought of - from the layout and decorative finishes to the smallest details.

But what if there is a desire to go beyond the established rules and create a non-standard environment in the home? In such cases, designers offer to create an unusual interior, using creative techniques to implement it.

An unusual environment can be embodied in the non-standard use of objects, in color, decor, finishes, unique custom-made furniture.

Most often, an unusual apartment interior is ordered by people who are not inclined to conservatism, prescribed rules and stereotypes. Non-standard solutions in housing are also preferred creative personalities, seeking to surround themselves with an environment associated with their activities. It also happens that a person likes a particular style, but he wants to add a twist to it that is unusual or not quite close to him.

The most suitable styles (bases) for creating an unusual interior

  • Vanguard

The style itself already provides for original and interesting solutions, therefore, as a base, it is optimal for the conceived idea, especially if you like rich colors, contrasts, the predominance of modern finishing materials with shiny surfaces.

If there is no desire to create a riot of colors in your home, you can use black and White color interspersed with one bright tone in the form of furniture of unusual shape.

The avant-garde in the interiors includes both geometric shapes and smooth lines. It does not have an abundance of decor. Items of unusual shape (furniture, lighting, partitions, etc.) can act as decorative elements.

Using the avant-garde as a base, it is important to consider the area of \u200b\u200bthe home. It is better if it exceeds 60 square meters. m, since the flow needs to effectively open up, and avant-garde interior items are most often large and medium-sized. Therefore, the style is often implemented in studios, in apartments with high ceilings and a large area.

Unusual interior design based on the avant-garde can be realized through custom-made furniture.

If sofas in the shape of lips and armchairs in the shape of bowls have become a characteristic addition to the style, then upholstered furniture in the shape of a piano, cake, fruit, car, water molecules will make it with a twist.

The same technique can be applied when choosing lighting fixtures (floor lamps, chandeliers, lamps). Partitions can also be unusual design solutions.

  • Fusion

Style involves combining different trends in home improvement. At the same time, the situation should be perceived as a whole, even if directions that are far from each other are combined. There are no strict restrictions on the use of design techniques.

It can be said without exaggeration that the style itself is already considered one of the embodiments of unusual house interiors, since it will be difficult to find even two very similar fusion-style apartments.

Embody the current with the help of decoration, decor, furniture, colors that represent different styles. Wood and metal, wood and plastic, glass and fur, classic painting and high-tech, elegant vintage and loft are boldly combined. The main basis for working on creating a style is colors, textures and materials.

If furniture and decor are predominantly bright colors, then the finish is most often made light and plain. Cold plastic with a glossy sheen is combined with a woolen carpet and upholstered furniture. Rough surfaces alternate with smooth ones.

As mentioned above, recently there has been a trend towards a combination of loft and vintage. For example, brickwork, lamps with iron shades are combined with vintage furniture - chests, beds, chests of drawers, wardrobes.

  • Pop Art

Pop art is also suitable as a base if you want to implement unusual solutions in the interior. It arose as a counterweight to conservatism and abstract impressionism. Style does not provide clear rules and traditions. He is bold, bold and expressive.

Pop art is characterized by contrasts, bright colors, neon lighting, posters, posters, smooth surfaces, synthetic and silk fabrics, unusual use of ordinary objects. Due to the last point, it is the best possible way to implement the conceived idea.

For example, the plates can be a wall panel. Instead of a regular flower vase, a tall tin can or bottle is used (the containers can be decorated based on the base style).

In addition to the listed bases, designers create custom interiors, based on the specific wishes and tastes of customers.

For example, in California there is an apartment building in the style of the Flintstones. More common orders are interiors in style spaceships, forest huts, pirate ships.

Ideas for creating an unusual interior in an apartment

  • Living room

Since the living room business card at home, it should fully reveal the idea you have conceived. The main tool for work is decorative trimming of steles, floors and ceilings. It not only creates a background, but also sets the character of the situation.

Do not be afraid to combine different textures and colors of finishing materials. This will help not only wallpaper, paint and plaster, but also mirror tiles, decorative panels, panels, mosaics.

With combinations, it is important not to overdo it. The atmosphere should be homely and cozy, and with the predominance of, for example, cold plastic and metal, this can be problematic. Pillows, blankets, carpets will add warmth to the room, corresponding to the basic style.

An unusual living room interior can also be created with the help of exclusive custom-made furniture and unusual decor. Moderation is also important in this matter so that the room does not turn into an exhibition of strange exhibits.

  • Bedroom

The atmosphere of this room should be associated with relaxation, tranquility and peace. Even if the entire dwelling is made on the basis of avant-garde or pop art, there are some nuances for arranging the bedroom. It is not necessary to abandon the base, you can reduce the number and brightness of colors - no more than three colors of moderate brightness.

An unusual bedroom interior can be expressed with a non-standard bed, for example, it can be round. The area behind the bed is decorated: it can be a mirror mosaic of a non-standard shape, photo wallpaper with a 3D effect.

Intricate decor should not be used, because in bed you want to relax and fall asleep rather than think about what its author really wanted to express in the decor.

  • Children's

A popular design technique when creating an unusual nursery interior is the realization of the child's hobbies and interests.

For example, a room could represent a fairytale forest, a soccer field, a pirate ship, a forest scout training camp.

Decor matches the theme. At the same time, it must be taken into account that the children's room is admissibly combined with the situation in other rooms.

Selection of colors according to the same method as in the bedroom - tones of moderate brightness without an abundance of colors.

  • Kitchen

When arranging the kitchen, it is important to understand that the atmosphere should be conducive to a pleasant pastime at the meal, as well as be practical and functional.

The unusual interior of the kitchen is expressed in decorative finishes and a dining area. Combine bright and juicy colors of finishing materials that improve mood, evoke positive emotions and awaken appetite. Give preference to a table and chairs of a non-standard shape, lay a patchwork carpet on the floor.

The kitchen set only emphasizes the situation, as the design excesses in it can make the process of cooking difficult. Household appliances are disguised or hidden behind cabinet doors.
