Based on common sense and experience, I could say that this game can be made in two main ways: or make it strongly , that is, as it should be done, or not done at all, that is, fail. Of course, we need it strongly. A very important moment. But practice shows that it is difficult to do something really strong. More precisely, jeweler's precision is needed here to make this game at its maximum.

Why am I saying so many words? In order to forget about the moments of your own dissatisfaction from the training, in order to be sure that you have presented one of the most important topics with the highest quality and can then be proud of the result in the form of the Persons received, you are offered a method for analyzing the game “KCH”.

Technical aspects do not present any difficulties (in my opinion). The main thing is dynamics, everything needs to be done very quickly, without delays, what exactly to do is well described in N.I.’s manuals. Kozlova (I recommend the latest options). The most important part, which depends solely on the skill and professionalism of the presenter, is the analysis. This is where the real thing lies. The fact is that only Nikolai Ivanovich himself can probably carry out the analysis exactly as described in Nikolai Ivanovich’s manual, that is, to the maximum. This is fine. In any case, attempts to do exactly the same for me personally were not entirely successful. Too many subtleties are missed, often - in the style of the presenter and his relationship with the group - authority, preliminary communication experience, etc.

Many years of testing on living people led me to the fact that in the end I got basically the same analysis, but! It turned out not to be ethical, but logical. That is, here I want to convey the idea that the presenter can and should strive to find his own style, to understand his own strengths and it is best to do this responsible task exactly the way he does best.

So, below is a logical analysis of the game “CC”. I do it in an extremely dry, “reporting” tone, perhaps with a bit of humor. This is a very significant point, because some green presenters understand the NI methodology in such a way that the participants need to be stuck and driven into a feeling of guilt. So, with this approach you can fly very far. Experienced Synton presenters already know this, so this more information for newbies. Getting resistance at a CC game is a chance to fail everything - the group (even if part) may refuse to accept the negative experience. The presenter should under no circumstances be a bully, but stand aside and reason solely on the basis of the laws of formal logic. True, it can and should provide participants with a rake and then only neutrally state: “Your rake? Did you come by yourself? How to? What are we going to do, what educational goals are we going to set?” The goal is to lead one hundred percent of the group to accept the meaning, and with the help of the methodology presented below, this is quite possible.

So, the game is played, the result is, to one degree or another, as it should be (as you need it, for a quality analysis) - a sea of ​​blood. It can be useful to present this metaphor to people, for example, by showing your sheet of records of moves. It's fun, in a kind way... Nah...

I personally do the analysis in two stages:

1. Preliminary control questions - before the break, this is precisely so that they are not loaded immediately after the game, otherwise the brain still does not perceive the information after an hour and a half of active participation, but to give the task for the break - think! This is also a command given in a post-game trance, so that everyone will discuss everything and come to preliminary conclusions themselves, and the presenter will work on the prepared ground after the break. AND -

2. Basic analysis. Here everything must be done clearly, lay everything out, not forget anything, for this you can and should use (obviously, like smart thoughts - mine, I can spy on a piece of paper - not read, just spy) the manual below. There are several themes, they are different, and explain the same meaning of the game from different sides. This will work better on some people, and this on others. It is better to list them all, focusing on what the presenter himself felt better. I recommend doing point A in detail.

Preliminary analysis, control questions, immediately after the end, before the break. The group is standing in a circle, post-game hugs have already taken place, everyone is tired and wants a break. The presenter is brief and slightly ironic (but friendly):

1. Please raise your hands for those for whom there are people in this group whom they can be called friends, at a minimum - by people you treat very well!(pay attention to the wording - your task is for everyone to raise their hands, but which part they agree with - what difference does it make).

2. For whom are there such people - friends or just people you treat well - in neighboring groups besides yours? (we continue to drag them through the desired question and answer scenario).

3. Which of you was ready to win in this game, these people you like, your friends, let’s say, a little cute like that throw, that is, make it so that “I win and he loses”? (just noted, haven’t thought about what it means yet).

4. Who was ready to pretend to be a friend, to “lose” a little on this, in order to use the accumulated trust in a critical move and cheat the friend big time? (We already realized something about ourselves more seriously).

5. How many of you think that he played this game with dignity? So, what can you be proud of yourself and your game? That is, tell everyone: friends, parents, children, about what a great guy he is? Who thinks that it would be possible and good to change anything? And who can say now that he would have played completely differently the second time? ( pressing ethical and logical issues).

6. And for whom was what was happening just a game, that is, frivolous and insignificant? (adjustment to resistance).

7. Who can say that he understands that any game is a direct reflection of life and our styles of behavior in it, that in a game we are unable to do anything that is completely unusual for us in life? (direct resistance processing).

8. Now everyone will go on a break, during which the main task is to think!!! And also - discuss, and observe what you think and discuss. And evaluate where this leads you (at this time the people are already in a trance, and here is a series of commands. You definitely need to give it, you can do it quite neutrally).

Main analysis, after the break. The group sits comfortably in the audience, everyone after the break, calm, ready to listen to something new and already waiting to be told what really happened. It is advisable for the presenter to draw something to comment on the board or whatman paper. The more, the better, while constantly talking and being turned towards the group.

The presenter is tough in style; it is better to warn in advance that no unnecessary or empty conversations are welcome and will be immediately suppressed. “Let’s agree - now while I’m talking, you’re listening. No interruptions, no distracted conversations, no comments until I asked the appropriate question.” The face and intonation are stern. Kindergarten is over, now everyone will have to answer for what they did. This is the communicative meaning.

The main concept of analysis. Please note again, this is the same as in Nikolai Ivanovich’s training manual, but there is an emphasis on logic, ethical things like “friend or not friend” are either completely absent or translated into “kind of a joke”, but based on logic ( the topic is fools and bastards) and therefore everyone understands that it’s just the presenter making such nice jokes, but the reality of these jokes only becomes even more obvious, frank and unattractive.

A. What are the game strategies - 4 pieces.

1. If I bet red in the hope that they’ll give me red too, who am I? That's right, a complete idiot. Let’s look at this option right away so we don’t come back to it again. If the goal of the game is to win, then a person who strives to lose (both his own and others) is an idiot, no one else. I will confirm each postulate with life analogies. What real life examples could there be - a person using such a strategy, living by these rules - how is this possible? What illustrations can you name? It will be difficult to come up with an illustration for such a case, simply because they do not live long, but still? For example, a person recklessly crossing the road at a red light. His task is to live, life is given to him so that he can live - and he? - here he is, an idiot. Well, and other nonsense: sticking his fingers into a socket, climbing onto a high-voltage support (come up with your own!). Interesting option– a person seriously, that is, thinking that he is doing something right, drinks vodka. It doesn’t matter how he will justify it, just as it doesn’t matter how someone who runs a red light or sticks their fingers into a socket will justify it. So, is everything clear with this option? Do we have these here? As I guess, no, simply because they don’t live long, and they certainly don’t reach Sinton.

2. Therefore, only option two is acceptable to us - if you bet on red, it was only to bet black in return. That is, so that you win and the “opponent” loses. But! This arrangement is possible only with two options. First: he is an idiot. As in the first described case. Did anyone seriously think that there were idiots here who could easily be taken advantage of? These are people just like you, they came here for the same reasons as you. Does anyone think that a person like himself can be a total idiot? This means that option two remains - this person simply trusted you and offered mutually beneficial cooperation - a joint game for black. Then based on this, if in response to this you put red, then what are you called? That's right, bastard. Guys, so far, according to my logical conclusions, it turns out that either idiots or bastards can bet on red. Yes? Are there other categories? (as a rule, the group gives more options that boil down to the two described above. Or – the option that you comment on: “We’ll look at this option later.”) Let's do an experiment. Stand up (option: raise your hands and hold them until I tell you to lower them), please, those who played for red in the game! Be brave, please, everyone who has ever bet on red! And now of these people, sit down (put your hands down), please, you idiots. Thank you, idiots, congratulations to those remaining, who are you? Let's sit down. What real-life examples are there that show us such idiots and bastards? (and here in more detail, and let them remember more examples. The only thing is that they remember examples from their lives with their participation, and better direct participation, and better - as a player on the red. That is, examples like “but we raised the price of gasoline “It’s better to stop immediately and rudely).

3. Who bets on black here? What are the possible options here, what are these people simply called? Yes, it’s simple - a person wants to earn money, and not at the expense of another, but together with him. Examples? Yes, that's enough. Any smart interaction is built only according to this scheme. From everyday examples, in family and personal relationships, when good family in principle, it can only work out if both trust each other and want both to win, in business, where in order to make money on a client, you need to do him good, so that he likes it and comes again, or in order for your company worked well, we need to take care of the employees so that they feel good, to more abstract but vivid examples: you know, for example, crocodiles have their own dentists - these are little birds that peck out whatever is stuck in their teeth. And to global examples: you can, for example, be rich and drive an expensive jeep, which, of course, doesn’t care what roads it drives on, but drives on bad roads! And how can you normal people in civilized countries - to make sure that there is no need to buy expensive all-terrain vehicles, but simply make good roads together.

There is a game for black in a weak, background version, when I play for black only because why not, after all, I won’t be able to make money anyway, playing for red will be no better for me. Such a lazy game for black. I’m stuck in a traffic jam, I’m not in a hurry, of course, I’ll let a little man come out of a secondary road. If this is not the case, then these are already psychological problems. But what will happen to such kindness of mine if I suddenly decide that I need it urgently and that my affairs are more important than everyone else?

And there is another game for black - a conscious choice, when I know that it is necessary to play for black, correctly, and in a different way - wrong. When I'm ready to insist on playing for black. And here we move on to the next option:

4. This is when a person plays for black, knowing that he will receive red in return. Again, there are two options. Or he's a masochist, and then that's his problem. Do we have those who bet on black, knowing or suspecting that they would now receive red in return? Masochists, admit it? No, something else... And the second option is if a person offers you joint activities, and is even ready to convey to you that working together is better and more profitable - to lose something, or rather, to pay for it. He invests in you. What do people call such a person, in simple terms? What are the most typical examples? The most common and striking example is our parents. Who are we to them while we are small and have no benefit other than harm? And what, nevertheless, do they do for us? Over and over again, realizing that our game for red, the described diapers, plugs in sockets, broken glass and deuces in diaries will not end for a long time? Were there people in our game who bet black to others over and over again, knowing that they would not get a response from them soon? How do those who earned points at their expense now treat them? What did you think and say about them then, at that moment?

1. What communicative information do playing styles convey? That is, not the direct text accompanying the move, which is often declarative, facade, but the subtext, hidden, often unconscious? If I bet on black, then in two possible options The outcome has something in common - in both cases you will win, you will get a plus. Therefore, playing for black carries a hidden, communicative message - “I want you to win.” And if I bet on red, then you will lose anyway. This means that the communicative message of the game on red is “I don’t care whether I win, the main thing for me is that you lose.” So much fun.

2. It happens that people start playing for black not so much because it is a consciously chosen strategy of life, but simply because it’s safer (well, let’s go for black from the very beginning, no one bothers, and that’s okay. Moreover, We turn out to be so good at this, the rest of the idiots are fighting, and we...). Or - the red one turns out somehow stupid and ignoble, and uninteresting, but the black one is interesting - and what will happen? But as soon as such a person receives a red card, he immediately gets on the usual, red rails... I would like the choice of the “Black” strategy to take place according to a different principle – as a conscious life choice.

3. how did it all happen during the game (in moves): we started with red (black), received an answer - and how did it go from there? What was the starting point at each such turning point? Option – “they cheated us, so we decided, why should we be kind to them? Right now we’ll throw them too...”

4. Who did you feel in relation to each other? Who are your colleagues? Who are competitors and rivals? Why is this so? How do you choose your relationship with your gaming partner: what is enabled by default – a partner or a competitor?

5. The fact is that this is not a zero-sum game (explain what zero- and non-zero-sum games are). Here, depending on the strategies of the players, the final amount can be very different. You can accumulate total wealth, or you can, as often happens in this game, total destruction. Once again - what did you start from? Life is also a game. And also – not zero-sum. How do you live your life and why do you think that you live it radically differently than you played this game, which schematically reflects life strategies in general?

6. Who thinks that a game is just a game and is not at all indicative of life? Well, to hell with them, who thinks so, dissuading them is just a waste of time (this, of course, must be said in a kind way). Who has already found and continues to find analogies of this game with life? What conclusions can be drawn for life? Only!!! Conclusions like “now I understand how everyone in life is screwing me over” are complete nonsense, heresy and fornication, and are categorically not accepted under any circumstances! Such a conclusion gives nothing to life! Find out where and what you are doing to get scammed - thank God, the game provides more than enough material for this - for example, as soon as you stop trusting and start to be afraid, you start betting red - and immediately get it in return, and if you don’t have the courage to take responsibility for the fact that you yourself created this, then you only confirm your opinion that “everyone is an asshole.” Example: boy-girl. The boy showed signs of attention to the girl, but did not accept obligations to be faithful until the grave. The girl, seeing him with another girl, decided to make a scandal with him. The boy looked at this scandal and decided: “Why do I need such a girl with problems that affect me?” And he left for another. The girl, quite rightly, concluded: “Well, this one, like all of them, is a kazel!!!” And she doesn’t even want to explain anything to the boy in such a situation, because it’s more expensive for herself to get involved and fray her nerves...

7. Sooner or later a topic arises: how to play this game so that people who play for black still win? Is it possible? The answer is yes!!! Just like that, and here there are several points about what honest and decent people need to do, so that no matter how life unfolds, they, honest and decent people, will always win. The game provided all the opportunities for this. Two options: either the presenter himself will tell you what the opportunities are, or, as I do, give a task for a home meeting - to find these opportunities. And figure out where in life you can do the same actions. Playing for black is profitable, you just need to be able to play technically, and then you will want to play for black and you won’t even be tempted to do nonsense - bet red.

Lifespring is a personal growth training system that provides participants with a set of tools for self-realization.
It consists of four stages, the first of which is the basic course.
In the basic course, participants are given the opportunity to become aware of the attitudes and limitations on which they build their lives, as well as the opportunity to create and accept new attitudes, thanks to which they can make life “work” to fulfill their desires.

The “red/black” game is played in the basic course.
Participants are divided into two teams and go to different rooms.
On the boards in both rooms there are tables drawn in two rows of six columns (each line corresponds to a team, each column to the next “move”).
By general vote, each team puts either red or black in the corresponding cell - this is the “move”. Teams move at the same time, not knowing what move the other team is making at the same time. Participants are informed about intermediate results only after both teams have made a move.
THE GOAL OF THE GAME IS TO SCORE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF POINTS.
Points are calculated as follows: if one team bets on red and the other team bets on red, both are minus three. If one team bets on red and the other team bets on black, the first team is plus five, the second is minus five. If both teams bet on black, both teams are plus three.

Third day of training.
I sit in the hall and listen to what I have heard many times before and even said myself. However, now I am here as a participant.

This game was never won. Not in any training course. No one. That's what the coach says. This is exactly what I myself told the participants many times...
The coach separates Ivan and I into different teams.
But this is a chance! It’s enough for me to explain to people the essence of the game, and Ivan, for his part, will do the same - I know that. We both have teams of thirty people - it’s nothing...
I'm going like a spring. The heart is right in the throat.
The second team passes by, into the next room, and I see Vanino’s face trembling. For one moment his hand touches mine...
No! This game can only be played once. One. The only one in my entire life. My game will be fake. My team carefully votes for red. That's it, the game is lost. You can leave... But they don’t know about it yet...
Ivan is raging behind the wall. Vanya graduated from Gnesinka in vocal class, and his bass is transmitted throughout the building through the floor.

Well, then it started.

I arrived on the day of the training at 9:30, everything was already ready in the hall, it was just great. However, from that moment on, surprises began for me. It turned out that the organizers arrived the evening before and decorated the hall until 3 in the morning. Of course, at 11-00 pm my administrator did not dare to disturb me. 1:0 in favor of the “Success” team.
Where is the cooler, the organizers asked me? When negotiating about the cooler - not a word. 2:0 in favor of the “Success” team. Where's the water for the cooler? - We ordered urgent delivery, fortunately we are in good standing with the delivery guy - 3:0 in favor of the “Success” team.

Second day of the training. It's four o'clock in the afternoon and I'm in serious negotiations on another project. Mrs. Mirionkova calls me and says.

  • Darling, are you going to play “red and black”?
  • Yes, we need to isolate teams from each other.
  • Why didn't you warn me about this when we agreed for the first time?

Like an enraged fury, the trainer flew into the kitchen (the training participants were already here). She was ready to incinerate me with her Reik gaze

Hee hee hee, Irina Borisovna said to herself. The trainer didn’t know that at that moment I was in mediation training, and my teacher also observed the situation, being right there.
Without getting involved in the discussion of who owes what to whom, I went into my training.

When I returned to the kitchen, the game of “red and black” was still going on. I involuntarily listened to what was happening. It turned out that the following modification was used in this training famous game that the entire inner essence was distorted.

The next morning I went to the office with a ready-made solution.
If you remember, the day should have started at 11-00 according to the first agreements. I came to the office, and there the training party was in full swing. It's 9:30 a.m.

That's right, I called Ms. Mirionkova into my office and offered her a choice.

  2. Pay exactly what you paid in the original agreement, once again.

I suggested that she make a decision immediately. However, this sweet lady was only capable of ever-increasing cries: “Irina Borisovna! Irina Borisovna! Irina Borisovna!”
Since I am a lady a little prone to drama, without waiting for the above-mentioned lady to collapse in hysterics, I went to the team in order to stop this circus
and repeated her demand, adding a time factor. Exactly 5 minutes.
I returned to my place and after 10 seconds two messengers came to me - members of the team.

  • Guys, I will repeat to you our first agreements, if you were not aware of them (fortunately, there is paper). You teach others to look for non-standard solutions - this is the reality of life. You teach others to BE COMMITTED - why do you allow yourself to break agreements? Why do you hurt others?
    I also mentioned that in connection with with misinformation about the time of the training, I had to cancel some clients - and this is a direct economic loss
    In response, there was a bleat that they were not ready...
  • Then vacate the premises. The clock shows 12 minutes until 10:00. You have exactly seven minutes to do one thing or another.

Seven minutes not required. Thirty minutes later they brought a decision.

It didn’t matter to me what decision the team made. Either way, I'm a winner. What about the training team?

The coach is unprofessional, this was noted by everyone who was involved in the situation from the outside.
Guys, be careful when you are involved in personal growth training! Choose a coach carefully. Any unprofessional interference in your psyche will cause harm to you.
The goal of any training is to shake you, throw you out of balance, force you to go beyond the usual. However, after such influences, you need to carry out professional psychocorrection, undergo a course of therapy in order to calm down at a new level of development of your personality!

Many psychological methods and technologies break away from their origins, begin to live their own “personal” lives, gradually becoming “folk”. I am sure that in the arsenal of every reader there are techniques whose origins are vague. Therefore, I want to draw attention to a very important, from my point of view, position: “folk” psychological technique- this is bad. And not only for reasons of historical justice. It’s bad because, without knowing the theoretical roots of the method, we don’t understand much about it itself: how and what it works, what it determines.
An association involuntarily comes to mind with the incident described in the story by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, where the heroes crack nuts with the royal seal.
In this article we will talk about one “folk” psychological game, which is known to literally everyone, but few are interested in the origins of it.

UNUSUAL DEPTH

The game “Red and Black” came to us from the American continent (it is used in the psychological training programs “Discovery” and “Lifespring”).
Thanks to the works of N. Kozlov, the game became widely known. I. Vachkov’s book offers a number of interesting author’s modifications. The game can be played both in pairs and between groups; it is based on strategies for building relationships in a situation where the intentions of one partner are reliably unknown to the other.
In the game scheme of “Red and Black” one can clearly sense a kind of methodological depth, unusual for most training techniques, and the presence of a good theoretical basis. The way it is. Unlike many other techniques used by practicing psychologists in group work, the scheme of this game comes from a serious theory. What, in my opinion, is important for all “consumers” of the “Red and Black” technique and its many variants to know.

WHAT'S ON THE COUNTER?

Even in the pre-war years, theories began to emerge in the depths of neo-behaviourism, trying to explain the essence of interpersonal relationships between people. Naturally, all theoretical constructs fit into the universal “stimulus-response” scheme.
D. Thibault and G. Kelly created an explanatory scheme in which people's relationships were considered from the point of view of their psychological expediency and benefits for the participants. There is a certain “psychological counter” inside each person. With its help, we try to evaluate the results of communication, determining its outcome.
The outcome is the sum of rewards and losses that results from communication with a particular partner. If there are more rewards, the outcome is positive, and the person strives to continue the relationship. If losses prevail over rewards, the outcome is obtained with a minus sign. Each of us strives to end a relationship with such an outcome.
Naturally, both rewards and losses are psychological in nature: power, status, satisfaction of social needs, etc. At first glance, everything is very simple: we constantly calculate the results of communication, discard connections that cause us psychological damage, and maintain relationships that positively nourish us.. But a serious problem arises. The fact is that communicating people have the opportunity to influence each other’s outcomes and control them! And often it depends not on me, but on my partner, what I get in the end: reward or loss.
In the theory of Thibault and Kelly, this moment turned out to be the most interesting and promising. To study how and in what ways partners influence each other’s outcomes, a special methodological technique was developed - an outcome matrix (or repertoire grid).
A and B are communication partners. They are placed in a kind of experimental situation, where everyone has two options for behavior: option 1 and option 2. But they bring different benefits to their partners. In any case, one is more attractive than the other.
In order to evaluate this benefit, you can enter conditional “money” - points, and the outcome matrix will allow you to consider all situations of a combination of choices from the point of view of their benefits for partners. After all, partners do not just choose for themselves; their benefit depends on both their own choice and the choice of their partner.

FATAL TYPE

For example, the wife wants to spend this evening at home (the situation is primitive, but it is the one most often considered by researchers).
The “at home” option is definitely more attractive for her than any “outside the home” option. But the value of a home evening varies greatly depending on what the husband chooses. It is high if he joins his wife, and it decreases greatly if he chooses “outside the home.”
Latest information: my husband doesn’t care how or where to while away this evening. He is self-sufficient, and he will be happy both alone and with his wife.
