62nd floor – Archive.

There is a man standing at the entrance to the office...
Hart: - Good evening. This is the office of the mayor of Midgar. Mayor Domino is at home. I'm his deputy.
Cloud enters the office...
Mayor Domino paces around the office:
- Hm? And who are you? Ah, you are all the same. I am Domino, Mayor of Midgar. Actually, I'm just called the mayor. The city and everything in it is run by the Shinra Corporation. My real job is working with Shinra documents. I! Mayor! Librarian! Ooh, do you want to go upstairs? I'll tell you what, if you can guess the password, I'll give you my key card.

Cloud left the office.
Hart: - Well, how did the conversation go?
Cloud: - He kept talking about some kind of password.
Hart: - Oh, password... He has too much free time. But he cannot be blamed for this; everything in Midgar is controlled by President Shinra. I will help you. I am a servant of society, my job is to help people. There are four different libraries on this floor in four different departments of the Shinra Corporation. Parts of the password are hidden in each of the libraries. Each library will have one folder mixed with other folders from another library. Look carefully at the number of each folder.

Cloud: - So, let's try to match the numbers of the wrong folders to the letters.
18 – C, 3 – B, 6 – E, 19 – T.
LIGHT.
Mayor Domino: - Yes. God, I love the sound of it! LIGHT! The light is... me! I am a ray of light in this world of darkness! No matter what others say, you better take their word for it. Okay, here you go.
He handed Cloud the key card to the 65th floor.

Mayor Domino: - You ask, why am I doing this? To harm them, of course. Shinra always tormented me. So I'm a little rough with you. Now go upstairs and give them a bloodbath. Then we'll be even. Hehehehe...
After receiving the key card, Cloud, Tifa and Barret took longer to travel.

63rd floor – Warehouse.

64th floor – Gym, recreation room.

A Shinra employee pumped up his abs in the gym:
- Hmph, hmph... Ever since I became the head of security for this building, endurance is very important to me.

Cloud walked over to the soft drink machine.
Inscription.

After receiving the buggy from Dio in the Golden Saucer, you can cross the river in the Junon area and reach the cave in the north. In the cave you will see a sleeping old man. When you talk to him, he will start muttering about the number of battles you've fought or materia. He will wake up only when the last 2 digits in the counter of your battles are the same. If they are even numbers, he will give you a BOLT RING, and if they are odd numbers, he will give you MYTHRIL.

Once you get the Tiny Bronco in Rocket Town, you can get to another important character - the arms dealer. His home is a separate location on the world map, located on a peninsula northeast of Gongaga and southeast of Gold Saucer. Talk to him and give MYTHRIL. It will allow you to open either the large chest by the door or the safe on the second floor, one of two things. The chest contains a GOLD ARMLET, and the safe contains a GREAT GOSPEL (Aerith's last limit).

FORT CONDOR

On the territory of Junon there is a Mako Reactor, not far from which the Shinra troops and the people defending Fort Condor have been fighting for a long time. Shinra sent troops to attack the fort in order to seize rare matter from the reactor, and the defenders are not going to allow them to do this, believing that Shinra's projects threaten the life of the rare animal and its offspring. If you want to join the defenders of the fort and get some valuable things, then go ahead to the mountain. Talk to the sentry and enter. Now talk to the old man and go upstairs. Here, chat with the old man's son and he will explain to you all the rules of the game.

Your task is simple. We hire a squad and place them (“”) on the top of the mountain. You will win if you completely destroy the enemy or kill their commander. For this, the guy will give you items collected from the battlefield. If the enemy breaks through to you, you will have to fight Cmd. Grand Horn. You will also get something valuable for this.

The number of enemies increases with each battle, but the strategy remains the same. Place a line of Fighters and Attackers at the very bottom of your territory, and add 1-2 Repairers to them. Start the battle ("") and reduce the battle speed ("") to minimum. Send all your fighters down the mountain towards the two passages from which the enemies appear. Bring repairmen there too. Once your troops are deployed, increase the battle speed ("") to maximum and watch the battle unfold.

Don't forget to treat damaged soldiers with the help of repairmen. After victory, for each surviving soldier you will receive a certain amount of Gil. By visiting the fort during the game, new items will be available to you. You must visit Fort Condor one last time before reaching the Crater on the second disc.

VINCENT VALENTINE

In the basement behind the locked door of the Shinra mansion in Nibelheim, Vincent sleeps in a coffin. Letters scattered around the house mention a safe and contain clues to the code. There are 4 tips in total:

1. In the chest on the second floor (right 36).
2. In the large room, in the far right corner of the first floor of the mansion, behind the piano (left 10).
3. Chair on the second floor. Opposite it is a secret passage (right 59).
4. Written in invisible ink on a letter (right 97).

Go to the safe on the second floor. The safe must be opened within 20 seconds without ever missing the correct number. After this, you will have to fight the boss.

LOST NUMBER- The boss has a very powerful attack, both physical and magical. Good to use from the start "Time + All". Also use "Paralysis" And "Stop". Start with an attack "Choco/Mog" and attack with limit Iris "Seal Evil". Then cast on yourself "Haste" and beat the boss with simple physical attacks. After some time, the boss will transform. If your last attack on the boss was physical, then it will have protection from physical attacks, if it was magical, then the boss will ignore magic. Use again "Choco/Mog" And "Seal Evil". For winning you will receive Cosmo Memory.

In the safe you will find Basement Key, as well as Odin materia. Now head to the basement to the crypt. Go to the coffin and wake up Vincent. Talk to him about Sephiroth and he will return to the coffin. Talk to him again. After you leave the mansion, Vincent will join you as a full party member.

YUFFIE KISARAGI

Yuffie can be found in any forest on the world map (you are especially likely to stumble upon it in the areas between Fort Condor and Junon). Wander around there for a bit and you'll have to fight a Mystery Ninja enemy. After winning, you will find yourself in a clearing with a Save Point. Do not save under any circumstances! You need to talk to Yuffie and convince him to join you. Correct responses to Yuffie's comments:

"One more time, let's go one more time!"- "Not interested"
"You're pretty scared of me, huh!?"- "...Petrified"
"I"m really gonna leave! REALLY!"- "Wait a second!"
"Do you want me to go with you?"- "...That's right"
"All right! I"ll go with you!"- "...Let"s hurry on"

WUTAI

After Yuffie joins you, you can complete another quest. Travel to the town of Wutai, which is located on the southern edge of the eastern continent. Land on the southern peninsula and go to the mountains. Soon Yuffie will offer to stop for a rest, and she will take it and run away with all your stuff. Get to the other side of the mountain and go to Wutai.

Entering the town, you will see Yuffie. She will also notice you and run away. Talk to the man on the far left side of town. Then go to the next screen and enter the house on the right. Relax and find MAGIC SHURIKEN and HAIRPIN. Go to the farthest room and talk to the man. Yuffie will come and, after talking, will run away again. Leave the house and go to the "Turtle's Paradise" bar, located on the left side of the city. Talk to the Turks there. Get out and head to the item store on the left side of the city. Try to take the ABSORB matter in the chest. Yuffie will appear and slam it from you right in front of your nose and disappears.
Go to the old man's house, located on the right side of the city. Look at the wall decoration and Yuffie will jump out and run away.

Head to the diner again and look at the vase at the entrance. Yuffie will finally be caught! She will take you to her home. In the house, follow her down the stairs. Talk, go to the wall with levers and turn any of them. A cage will fall on you. Yuffie will disappear once again. Press the other lever and the cage will disappear. Go through the gate on the left and hit the gong. A passage will open. Come in. Here you will find Yuffie and Elena. Take SWIFT BOLT and ELIXIR from the chests. Now, go up the stairs and you will find yourself in a room with an altar. You will have to fight with the guards. After that, go to the city square. Talk to the Turks here, and then go to the northeast of the town. There is a path that leads into the mountains, to the stone statues of the gods. At the fork, go north and soon you will come to a cave. Talk to Rude and go inside. Take the weapon. Then get out and go south, to Don Korneo Prepare for battle.

RAPPS- A huge flying beast. Likes to attack with physical attacks and use Aero3, which removes 1500 HP from a character. Your heroes should have the strongest weapons and armor with the greatest protection against magic. Dress up the strongest character Fury Ring. Every time the boss attacks Aero3, respond X-Potion(or Phoenix Down + X-Rotion). You will also very quickly accumulate limits that you need to immediately put into action. The boss will be given a PEACE RING.

After the battle, Yuffie will give you all the stolen matter and will finally join the party until the very end of the game.

WUTAI: Bar "Turtle's Paradise"

"Turtle Paradise" is a famous bar from Wutai. Its owner is offering a prize to anyone who finds 6 flyers scattered around the world. And they are located in the following places:

No.1 - go to the house in the southeast. Go up to the second floor (the guy is watching TV) and read the ad on the wall.

No.2 - the ad is hanging on the 1st floor, on the wall near the elevator. You should read it during one of your two visits to Shinra Headquarters.

No.3 - this ad hangs to the left of the entrance to the item store.

No.4 - find a weapons store with a sign Tigerlily Arms Shop - the advertisement is on the wall on the left.

No.5 - Go to Shildra Inn, second floor. The notice hangs near the door.

No.6 - go to Yuffie's house and on the lowest floor look for a scroll on the wall to the right.

Once you have read all 6 advertisements, return to Turtle's Paradise and talk to the owner at the counter. As a reward for your efforts, he will give you: POWER SOURCE, GUARD SOURCE, MAGIC SOURCE, MIND SOURCE, SPEED SOURCE, LUCK SOURCE and MEGALIXIR.

WUTAI: Five Mighty Gods Pagoda

In the farthest part of Wutai town is the Pagoda of the Five Mighty Gods. Each warrior must fight five gods to prove his skill.

You should definitely have Yuffie on your team. Go to the pagoda and talk to the master on each floor to start the fight.

(Note: If you have already completed the previous quests in this city, you can go up the stairs in the cat house (below Yuffie's house) and take HP ABSORB materia from the chest. You can also look into the weapon shop (between the old man's house and Turtle's Paradise") and buy MURASAME for 6500 Gil, DIAMOND KNUCKLE for 5800 Gil, CHAINSAW for 6300 Gil, AURORA ROD for 5800 Gil, GOLD BARRETTE for 6000 Gil, SLASH LANCE for 6500 Gil, BLUE M-PHONE for 5500 Gil, SHORT BARREL for 6400 Gil Be sure to buy the RAZOR RING for Yuffie).

All gods are weak against Slow And Stop. Equip the materia Deathblow, WITH mounter attack And Enemy Skill with the ability Magic Hammer, White Wind And Big Guard. Gods are also weak against matter Poison. And don't forget to wear Plus Materia.

Start each battle with Big Guard to use on yourself Haste, Barrier And MBarrier. Then, pump all the enemy's MP to you using Magic Hammer. Each attack on you will result in your retaliatory Slow and Stop attack. If you want, you can poison your opponent Bio and heal with White Wind or X-Potion. Finish the battle with physical attacks.

GORKII - M can use magic Demi2. Good defense against her Gravity + Elemental.
God can also cast on himself Reflect. If this happens, skip the MP pumping step and go straight to physical attacks. For winning you will be given X-POTION.

SHAKE- As an addition to the main tactics, you can use Dazer for freezing. For victory they will give TURBO ETHER .

CHECKHOV- Likes to use attacks that paralyze. To counter this, equip your characters Jem Ring. After winning, you will receive an ICE RING.

STANIV- Boss attack War Cry imposes status Sadness. Equip yourself Peace Ring, if you have nothing to cure ( Hyper) is a state. For winning you will receive ELIXIR.

GODO- He has three faces, each with their own fighting style. Red face can use Trine Enemy Skill And Beast Sword, which removes a fairly large amount of HP. White uses Bio2, Demi3 and magic that lowers your HP. Yellow face applies Sleepel And Cure2(often).
Not bad to equip Headband. Use Big Guard(for guard), White Wind(to restore HP and cure Poison) or X-Potion, Magic Hammer. Use limits as often as possible. At the end of the fight, slow down GODO with Slow and finish him off. For winning, you will receive a level 4 limit for Yuffie - ALL CREATION. After the fight, you will also receive LEVIATHAN materia from Godo.

DATES

There are four dating options in total - depending on the number of possible chosen ones. This is Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie and... Barret. What determines whether you get a particular date? It turns out that for each of the four candidates there are parameters hidden from the player, conventionally called Love Points (LP) - from now on I will also call the LP level an “opinion” about Cloud or “interest” in him. As you progress through the game, your LP level will change based on your behavior.

The simplest example: some time after the start of the game, you choose who to give the purchased flower to - Tifa or Marlene, Barret's daughter. Giving a flower to Tifa increases the chances of a date with her, giving it to Marlene increases the chances of a date with Barrett. In relation to LP, this looks like adding 5 units to the “opinion” of Tifa or Barret, respectively. However, keep in mind: your actions can not only increase the “interest” of candidates, but also reduce it. As a result, when you come to the “Golden Saucer” for the second time in the story, this is where it will happen. Which of the likely candidates has a higher LP level will be the date.

The main option that you will most likely see in the game is a very romantic date with Aerith. In the end, she was wooing him for half the game, Cloud is truly in love with her and - given the further development of the plot, perhaps Aerith has more rights to the last date in her life than other candidates.

The date with Tifa is much sadder. "Being childhood friends is very hard, Cloud..." If a date with Aeris exploits the theme of love, a date with Tifa - pure water psychoanalysis, somewhat deepening the plot. The chances of getting a date with Tifa are also very high.

The third option is a date with Yuffie. Well, actually, the third girl on your team also deserves great and pure love - don’t think anything bad, she’s still little - sixteen years old. But, given the temperament, it won’t be possible without a kiss.

And finally, Barrett. The date with Barrett option does not contain (at least in the English-language versions) the amount of dark humor and gay jokes that one could easily expect here, it is simply an innocent, but extremely funny parody of the other three options. In general, watch it for yourself and laugh.

Attention! In some cases, when the effect associated with changing LP is reversible, for example, when you are asked to form a battle trio - only your first choice affects LP! That is, if you first included Aerith in the team, and then changed your mind and replaced her with Yuffie, LP will only go to Aerith.

Initial LP values:

Aeris - 50 LP
Tifa - 30 LP
Yuffie - 10 LP
Barret - 0 LP

Obviously, the highest initial chances of a date with Aeris, and the lowest, naturally, with Barret.

1. Oddly enough, whether Cloud buys a flower from Aerith or not does not in any way affect her interest. Business is business. However, the subsequent presentation of the flower changes Tifa's or Barret's interest (see below). To buy a flower, you need to tell Aerith first "nothing" then "I don"t see any flowers around here".

2. On the train, in a conversation with Jessie (you need to speak twice), select an option "I'm looking forward to it" Decreases Tifa's interest (-3). Option "Thanks anyway" doesn't change it.

3. In the Seventh Heaven bar, the flower purchased from Aeris can be given to either Tifa or Marlene (Barret's adopted daughter). Everything goes without saying: giving the flower to Tifa increases her interest (+5), giving it to Marlene increases Barrett’s opinion (also +5). If you want Tifa, give the flower to her. If you don't want it, don't give it away.

4. When Barret and his team go down to the basement, Cloud is left alone in the bar with Tifa. Talk to her, she will offer you a drink. Agree ( "Give me something hard"), and her interest will grow (+5)...

5. Next, Tifa accuses Cloud of forgetting his childhood friend (that is, her). Strange, but sharper “How can you say that!?” increases Tifa's interest (+5). "...Sorry" doesn't change it at all.

6. In the morning, when getting ready for the operation, you can talk to Tifa. She asks Cloud: how did you sleep? Insomnia? Answer “Next to you, who wouldn’t?”, naturally, significantly increases Tifa's interest (+5). It's not clear why, but "Barret's snoring kept me up" increases Barrett's opinion (+5). The same can be said about this choice as about the choice of who to give the flower to.

7. Cloud’s lecture on Matter, which follows at Barret’s request (you can refuse it – “You don’t understand”), oddly enough, does NOT affect his opinion.

8. On the train, when the alarm goes off and the automation closes the doors, you need to run after Tifa and Barrett. If you have time, the opinion of BOTH will increase (they say, he’s a good guy, he managed it himself, +5 for Tifa, +5 for Barret).

9. After the fight with the Air Buster, Cloud is hanging on a cliff above the abyss. Choice "Be strong" increases Barret's opinion (+2) and does not affect Tifa's opinion, choice “I doesn't know if I can hang on” Raises Tifa's opinion (+1) and lowers Barret's opinion (-3).

10. Oddly enough, the dialogue with Aeris in the church has absolutely no effect on her opinion (this is despite all the rude things that you can say to her). However, her further behavior when saving her from Reno and the military police is very influential: Cloud must throw barrels on them. The correct sequence is: barrel on the left, barrel in the middle, barrel on the right. If you are late with the barrel and Aeris has to fight with the police, her opinion will decrease (-1) for each fight. If Cloud invites Aerith to fight with MP, her opinion decreases by one (-1) for each fight, the same thing (-1 for each fight) if he asks her to run (Run!) and she has to fight with the police. If you throw away the WRONG barrel, its opinion will again decrease (-3 for each of the three barrels, maximum -9). But if you do everything right, her opinion will increase (only +1 per barrel, total +3). Aerith's initial opinion of Cloud is very high, higher than Tifa's or Barret's, so if you really want to spoil him properly, this is your chance.

11. When Aerith asks Cloud about Tifa - Is Tifa your girlfriend? - answer “yes”, and Aerith’s opinion will drop (-5). Moreover, Tifa’s opinion does not change in any way, since she does not hear this dialogue. Accordingly, a negative answer slightly increases Aerith's interest (+1).

12. When Cloud and Aerith get to the playground in Sector 6, you are given the choice to take Aerith back home ( "Take her home") or not ( "Go on to Sector 7"). Don't worry, you don't have to go anywhere. If you want to take her with you to Sector 7, her opinion will increase (+1). If you don't want to, it won't change.

13. Visit to Don Corneo - everything is quite complicated here. So, if Don chose Tifa, Cloud first heads to Aerith's basement. Reaction "We've gotta help Tifa!" lowers (-3) Aerith's opinion (again, without affecting Tifa's opinion in any way), another option - “Are you all right?” increases (+3) her opinion. ON THE CONVERSE, if Don chose Aerith, the statement made in front of Tifa “We've gotta help Aeris!” INCREASES (+3) Tifa's opinion. Concern about her well-being, on the contrary, decreases (-3). You see, the difference in the characters of Tifa and Aerith is especially evident here: Tifa is more interested in the personality, the character of Cloud. Her interest in Cloud grows if he shows himself to be a strong, strong-willed person. But Aeris is more concerned about Cloud’s feelings for her. And finally, if Corneo chose Cloud, in a conversation with him you can mention Barret’s name and thereby significantly increase Barret’s opinion (+5) - namely, by choosing options "Umm..." And "Yes, his name is Barret". Hm. Don don, but who told Barrett about this? The other wonderful possibilities in the Don's bed do not influence anyone's opinion. So, now what to do with all this? If you are aiming for a date with Barret, arm Cloud to the fullest so that Don chooses him. If you want Yuffie, don't bother changing clothes so Don chooses Tifa, and by the way, try to confuse Aerith's opinion by demanding to help Tifa. Aerith still has a very high opinion of Cloud, if you are chasing Yuffie, you need to lower it. If you want Aerith or Tifa, do as you wish, there will be many more opportunities in the game to significantly change their minds.

14. When all three find themselves in the sewers under Don's estate, Cloud must bring his companions to their senses. First you need to bring to your senses the one with whom you want a date: with Tifa - so Tifa (+3), with Aerith - so Aerith (+3). If you need a date with Yuffie or Barret, get Tifa up first.

15. Next, at Aerith's house, Marlene asks whether Aerith loves Cloud or not. Everything is self-evident: the answer "I don't know" increases (+3) Tifa's opinion and decreases (-3) Aerith's opinion, answer "Let's hope so" has the opposite effect: Aerith (+3), Tifa (-3).

16. After you rescue Aerith from the laboratory and include Red XIII in the team, you need to decide who will fight HO512 along with Cloud and Red XIII, and who will protect Aerith. This is where things get interesting again. Option that sends Tifa away from the battle - “ Tifa, I "m countin" on you! LOWERS her opinion (-2), and reasonably - Tifa wants to fight. The option of sending Barrett to protect Aeris INCREASES his opinion (+2) - from his point of view, this is a very noble and meaningful act.

17. After the battle, the detachment is split in two. Everyone you include in the top three will increase their opinion of you (+2). Those not included will be downgraded (-2). That is, turn on Barret - Barret's opinion will increase, Aeris - her opinion will increase, Tifa - all accordingly. If you need to discourage someone from a date, turn on Red XIII instead, to whom all these dates are parallel and perpendicular. If you want a date with Yuffie, it's best to take Barret and Red.

18. Cloud and Tifa in a prison cell. Tifa, if you talk to her, asks if Cloud can get out of here. "Leave it to me" increases her opinion (+1), "Kinda hard" lowers (-1). BUT! This is where the dog is buried. After all, you can talk to Tifa as many times as you like. Accordingly, her opinion of Cloud can thus be inflated to incredible heights or, conversely, dropped below the plinth. Which is what you should use. However, even if you did this or that, there will still be plenty of opportunities in the game to change the situation.

19. Sitting in the same cell, you can ask how things are going with your neighbors. The opinion of the first person you ask will increase (+3). The second opinion is that it will go down (-1). The third person's opinion will not change. So, yes. If we need Aeris, proceed in this order: Aeris, Barret, Red XIII. If Barrett is the opposite: Barret, Aeris, Red XIII. If we need Tifa or Yuffie: Red XIII, Aeris, Barret.

20. Upon leaving Midgar, the detachment will have to be defeated again. The opinion of those included in the top three will increase (+1), those not included will fall (-1), exactly the same as during the previous division at Sin-Ra Headquarters. However, keep in mind that later in Kalm there will be a couple of events that affect the date, and negatively (see below). So take a look. If you need Barret, take him with Red. If Yuffie, take Tifa and Aerith.

21. In Kalm you can influence your companions by talking to some locals. First, there is a woman talking about the convenience of Mako energy (mako energy is convenient). An affirmative answer lowers the opinion of your companions about you (-1 each for Tifa and Aeris, -2 for Barret), a negative answer "You're full of it" increases (+1/+1/+2). The second is a girl who believes that the old life was better. Similarly, an affirmative answer to a girl ( "Yeah, maybe") increases (+1/+1/+2) the opinion of your companions, negative ( "No way") decreases (-1/-1/-2). The opinions of fighters outside the squad do not change because they do not hear these two conversations.

22. Oddly enough, Cloud's responses to Tifa and Barret's remarks during the memory session in Calm do not in any way affect their attitude towards him.

23. However, after the end of the memory session, when Barrett tries to leave the room, tell him "Wait a sec". When responding to Barret's cry of "Sephiroth cannot be allowed into the Promised Land!" option "Beautiful, just beautiful" increases his opinion (+3). Option "Is that all?" lowers (-1). When choosing "Right" his opinion will not change in any way.

24. The first visit to Fort Condor is very important for LP level. The head of the Fort is a decrepit old man in a hat, sitting at a table in the center of the main cave. Talk to him, agree to listen to his story ( I guess so). Next, when he explains his circumstances to you, AGREE to help the Condorians ( All right). Even if now you don’t have the funds to hire soldiers in the Fort and you don’t intend to fight at all now, your consent will give a significant plus to the LP of all characters, even Yuffie, whom you most likely don’t have yet. Regardless of their presence in the trio, Aerith and Tifa will each receive (+6 LP), Yuffie - (+4), and Barret - (+10). I think you need to do this anyway, no matter who you need: extra points for Yuffie and Barret won't hurt, and Tifa and Aerith can still be shot down.

25. When meeting Yuffie (and defeating her), a dialogue ensues, as a result of which Yuffie will either run away or join the team. The correct answers to Yuffie's remarks are well known:

"Not interested." »
“...petrified. »
“Wait a second! »
"That's right."
"Let's hurry on."

Each correct answer increases Yuffie's opinion of Cloud (+2 for each - total +10). But the wrong answers don’t affect anything - the young ninja just runs away and you have to catch her again. However, the next time you catch him, the dialogue will be the same. You can take advantage of this by catching Yuffie over and over again and raising her opinion with four correct answers by 8, driving her away with the wrong fifth. Sooner or later, drive this opinion to a ceiling - much higher than that of other candidates. However, don’t overdo it, you will still have the opportunity to change her mind.

26. On the Cargo Ship, talk to Yuffie. She suffers from seasickness and asks you for a sedative - Tranquilizer. If you refuse her (or you simply don’t have these tranquilizers at all), her opinion will drop (-2). Give it - it will rise (+4).

27. There, on the Sin-Ra cargo ship, you should talk to Aerith. She thinks about the Highwind airship you saw in Juno and asks if you can take her on it someday. A positive response "I"ll take you someday" increases her interest (+2), negative "I dunno..."- lowers (-2).

28. And there on the ship you can talk to Tifa, who is talking about the war. A positive response "Yeah..." raises her opinion (+2), negative "I don't know"- lowers (-2).

29. Numerous dialogues and redistribution of the squad in Costa Del Sol and Mt. Corel does not influence anyone's opinion in any way. The episode with the chicks in the nest, oddly enough, also does not affect anyone’s interest.

30. In Gold Saucer you need to choose your only companion - his opinion of you will increase (+3). Choose whichever girl you want, or Red XIII if you want Barrett.

31. In Corel Prison, when Cloud and Barret go to meet Dyne, choose the third fighter to date with whom you want (+3 for Tifa, +2 for Yuffie and as much as +10 for Aerith!). If you need Barret, put Cait Sith or Red XIII third.

32. In Gongaga you (if you wish) will have a conversation with Zach's parents. This is where there is an opportunity to influence the opinions of Tifa and Aerith. When you talk to Zach's parents, Tifa and Aerith (if they are both with you) will run out into the street in confusion. Go outside too and talk to them - this time the order in which you talk to them is not important. When talking to Tifa, both options ( “I was just lucky”, “I worked hard”) equally increase her opinion of you (+1). When talking to Aerith option Poor guy will give a smaller increase (+1), and “ ...jealous....envious"- large (+2). You can spit and leave without talking to anyone at all, but you will get (-1) from each girl, similarly, if you don’t talk to one, her opinion of you will also decrease by one.

33. Events in Cosmo Canyon and Rocket Launcher Pad do not in any way affect anyone's attitude towards you.

34. Completing the subquest with the theft of Materia in Wutai gives a rather large bonus in Yuffie’s interest - (+10). It seems that without completing this subquest it is almost impossible to get a date with Yuffie, so if you need her, be sure to do it. But if you are chasing Barrett, stay away from Utai until the date.

Well, that's all. As soon as you get back into the Golden Saucer in the story, that’s where it will come. Enjoy your date.

16. Speak to your neighbors in this order: Barret, Aeris, Red XIII.
17. After escaping from Midgar, assemble a squad this way: Cloud, Barret, Red XIII.
18. In Kalma, talk to the woman talking about Mako and the girl yearning for her old life. Give the first a negative answer, and the second an affirmative (“Yeah, maybe”).
19. After the memory session, tell Barrett “Wait a sec” “Beautiful, just beautiful”.
20. Agree to help the residents of Fort Condor.
21. Don't make mistakes when capturing Yuffie. Or don't catch it at all. You'll catch it after the date.
22. On the cargo ship, talk to Yuffie, but refuse to give her the Tranquilizer. Aeris tell me "I dunno...", Tife "I don't know".
23. In Gold Saucer, take Red XIII with you.
24. In Corel Prison, when going in search of Dean, make up a squad like this: Cloud, Barret and Red XIII (or Cait Sith)
25. In Gongaga, take Tifa and Aerith with you, talk to Zach's parents and leave the city without talking to either Tifa or Aerith.
26. Don't do the subquest in Wutai. Do it after the date.

Note: Even after the date itself, LPs continue to influence the plot. In any case, the final scene of the second disc, when Cloud is alone with Tifa, has at least two different options. They differ, however, only in their dialogues, and to a greater extent in Cloud’s remarks. With Tifa's LP greater than her initial 30, Cloud clearly shows feelings for Tifa and talks about Tifa and their shared future. With Tifa's LP less than 30, Cloud is very harsh and cold and only talks about his future.

ANCIENT FOREST

The Ancient Forest is located on a plateau southeast of Cosmo Canyon. You can get there either by taking out an all-terrain chocobo, or by entering the forest after the battle with the Ultimate Weapon. The forest is simply crammed with various puzzles and it will be quite difficult to get through it.

Collect the flies in the first area and release them near the large flower. Take one fly and feed it to a predatory plant, then quickly take the second fly and, jumping on the first plant, feed the second, then pick up the second fly and feed the third plant. Take the frog again and feed it to the rightmost plant. Wait until you are thrown to the right. Go to the next area. Open the two chests here and you will find APOCALYPSE and ELIXIR in them. You can now leave the Ancient Forest.

WUTAI: Fire Cave

Golden Saucer is a large amusement park located in the heart of the Corel Desert. Here you can get rare items and materials that are not found anywhere else. The only way to get here is by the overhead tram that departs from North Corel station.

First you need to buy a pass at the ticket office. If you plan to become a regular at the Gold Saucer, then it makes sense to buy a lifetime pass for 30,000 Gil (GOLD TICKET). A single ticket costs only 3,000 Gil. Every time you come to the Saucer, there is a chance to meet a person who exchanges Gil for GP (100 to 1). In the early game, this is probably the best way to accumulate a decent amount of GP in a short time.

Gold Saucer consists of several gaming pavilions:

THE GOLD GATE - The place from where you can get to the attractions of the Golden Saucer. Visit, for example, the Ghost Hotel, or take a gondola ride around the park.

CRYSTAL FORTUNE (50 Gil)- An ordinary wheel of fortune.

3D BATTLER (200Gil)- Fight with a holographic man. The first one to land 10 hits wins. The longer you survive, the more GP you will receive.

MOG HOUSE (100Gil) - Mog lives in the Mog Forest on Mog Mountain. Feed him ("") Kupo nuts (depending on his reaction). Having eaten 5 nuts, he will be happy and jump. The next day, feed him 3 more nuts and you will finish this game. After your victory, talk to the puzzled player nearby and he will give you 30 GP.

G-BIKE (200Gil) - An arcade game based on your escape from Shinra troops from Midgar on a motorcycle. Win at least 10,000 points and receive 10GP (SPEED SOURCE is a bonus for your first win).

For each burst balloon you will be awarded points (red - 1, blue -3, green - 5). During descent, use "" to improve your maneuverability. Come as quickly as possible and unlock the next level. For completing the route at the “beginner” level they will give 30GP + SAFETY BIT, for the “expert” - 100 GP + ALL MATERIA, for the “crazy” - 300 GP + CRYSTAL BANGLE.

TORPEDO ATTACK (200Gil) - You can only play this game after completing Underwater Reactor. Your task is to destroy the enemy fleet. You will be given 5 missions to choose from. The missions are not particularly difficult and you should be able to complete them without any problems. For each mission you will be given 20 GP, as well as: for "Undersea Mako Reactor Battle" - INK, "Level 1" - T/S BOMB, "Level 2" - DRAGON FANG, "Level 3" - DRAGON SCALES, "Level 4 " -CAULDRON.

SPEED SQUARE - Here you will have to shoot at various objects rushing in front of you. The most important thing is not to miss the yellow brick on the cliff (200), the large UFO (1000) and the invisible target at the very end (200). If you score at least 3000 points, you will receive 1/35 SOLDIER, SUPER SWEEPER and MASAMUNE BLADE. If you score 5000 points while on disc 1, you will receive UMBRELLA (weapon for Iris), and on disc 2 and later - FLAYER (weapon for Sid).

BATTLE SQUARE - This is the most profitable place for items and the most interesting place in the entire Golden Saucer. Fight with opponents and the BP you earn can be exchanged ([until the end of disc 1]/[after disc 1]/[on disc 2 and later]) for:

Potion /[-]/[-] BP
- Phoenix Down //[-] BP
- Shrapnel /[-]/[-] BP
- Ether /[-]/[-] BP
- Remedy [-]// BP
- Mimmet Greens //[-] BP
- Fury Ring /[-]/[-] BP
- Enemy Lure Materia // BP
- Bird Wing [-]//[-] BP
- S-mine [-]//[-] BP
- Right Arm [-]/[-]/ BP
- Pre-Emptive Materia // BP
- Reagan Greens [-]/[-]/ BP
- Speed Plus Materia // BP
- Stardust [-]/[-]/ BP
- Champion Belt // BP
- Omnislash [-]// BP
- W-Summon Materia [-]/[-]/ BP

At the ticket office on the right, buy a ticket for 10 GP and enter the arena. After each battle you will have a choice: continue the battle or leave the game. If you decide to leave, you will leave with the amount of BP you earned, and if you stay and lose the battle, you will lose all previously earned BP.

When participating in arena battles, you will not be able to develop your materia. The main task here is to equip yourself with matter as correctly as possible in order to be less susceptible to attacks that affect status changes. It's good to turn it on Hades + Added Effect into your weapon, use Mega All and fully equipped Enemy Skill matter. In the very first round it's a good idea to cast on yourself Haste and quickly destroy all enemies, because The acceleration effect remains in subsequent rounds of the battle. All accumulated BP ( maximum amount- 65,000) you can only spend without leaving this room. If you go to another location, you will lose all BP.

After you win all 8 battles the first time, talk to the woman and she will give SPRINT SHOES.
After you heal Cloud, you will be able to participate in the "Special Battle". But first, get Omnislash and W-Summon Materia, get Ultima Weapon and save up at least 64,000BP, then you can compete. Win all 8 battles in a row for the first time and Dio will give you the FINAL ATTACK materia.

CHOCOBO SQUARE - When visiting the Golden Saucer for the first time, you can only take part in chocobo racing in class "B" or "C". Bet on those participants who you think should win or in what order they should reach the finish line and you can win a certain amount of BP.

Once you have your own Chocobo, you can race directly as a jockey. This will bring much larger profits if successful promotion. You start with class "C". After winning three races in your class, you will move up to a higher class. Without a Golden Chocobo, reaching class "S" is almost impossible.

Before the race starts, press Select and enter manual controls. During the race, constantly hold down the R1 and R2 buttons to increase the chocobo's stamina level, and L1+L2 to increase the speed. For the first time, winning 10 races in a row in class "S", you will receive SPRINT SHOES, PRECIOUS WATCH, CAT"S BELL, CHOCOBRACELET, COUNTER ATTACK MATERIA. You can also win COUNTER MATERIA, ENEMY AWAY MATERIA, SNEAK ATTACK MATERIA and MAGIC COUNTER MATERIA

CHOCOBO BREEDING

The main goal of the entire chocobo breeding process is to obtain a Golden Chocobo. We will do everything step by step.

1. Head to the Chocobo Farm and rent six stalls there for 60,000 Gil. You will have to mate Chocobos of different colors and genders to eventually get a Gold Chocobo. Remember that in order for Parent Chocobo to give birth, you must fight from 3 to 10 battles, and in the case of Newborn Chocobo - from 3 to 18 battles.

2. Use Choco Lure to catch two Good Chocobo (male and female) and two Great Chocobo (male and female). Look at the map and see where they live. Good Chocobo spawns with SPENCER near Gold Saucer, and Great Chocobo will definitely be paired with SPIRAL near Mideel.

3. Now, race the Chocobo at Gold Saucer (Chocobo Square). This will give you a better chance of producing a Chocobo of the color we want.

4. Mate Good and Great Chocobos using Carob Nuts, which can be stolen from Vlakorados (located in the dark grass near Bone Village). You will need three nuts. Save. Now, you should get one Blue and one Green Chocobo, but of opposite genders.

5. Race these Chocobos (ideally, it's good to get them to "A" class, but this is not necessary). Also take part in 3-18 battles with them. After that, you can mate them using Carob Nut - your task is to get Black Chocobo.

6. Now, catch the Wonderful Chocobo (see map) that appears near Icicle paired with JUMPING. You need to get a Chocobo of the opposite gender to your Black Chocobo.

7. Participate in races and get both of them to Class A, and also participate in battles 3-18 times. Now, steal the Zeio Nut from the Goblins who live on the Goblin Island (see map).

8. Use this nut to pair Black Chocobo with Wonderful Chocobo to get Gold Chocobo.

CAVES WITH MATTER

While exploring the world, you can find 4 mysterious caves. They are located in the most remote places that cannot be reached by conventional means. You can only get into these Materia Caves with the help of special breeds of chocobos.

North Corel Area Materia Cave - This cave is located in the north of North Corel. You can get there using a Blue, Black or Gold Chocobo. Land the Chocobo in Highwind and fly to the grassy area near Corel and Mt.Corel. Get on the chocobo and cross the river into the cave. Touch the crystal there and get HPMP materia.

Wutai Area Materia Cave- This cave is located in the area of the mountains leading to the village of Wutai. You can get into it with the help of a Green, Black or Gold Chocobo. Inside, tap the source yellow glow and get the MIME matter.

Mideel Area Materia Cave- This cave is located on the northernmost of the islands leading from the city of Mideel. You can get here on a Blue, Black or Gold Chocobo. Inside, touch the pyramid-like object to get QUADRA MAGIC materia.

Round Island Materia Cave- This is the farthest of all the caves. It is not visible on the map and can only be reached by riding a Golden Chocobo. Ride it to the northeast corner of the map and you will find a small island with a cave. By touching the crystal inside, you will receive the highest summon matter KNIGHTS OF ROUND.

EMERALD WEAPON

Emerald Weapon can be found underwater near Junon. It's a big green monster swimming around an underwater canyon. You can fight it by ramming it with a submarine.

For this battle it is advisable to obtain materia Underwater from the traveler in Kalma. To do this, find an enemy named Ghost Ship in the Underwater Reactor and turn it (Morph) into a Guidebook item, which you can exchange for materia Underwater in Kalma. Equip this materia to any of the characters who will participate in the battle. Without this materia, the battle with Emerald Weapon is limited to a 20-minute timer, after which the heroes will drown.

For a successful battle, your characters must be at least level 70 and HP at least 9,999 (raise with HP Plus materia). The following equipment is required:

Final Attack (Master) (1)
Phoenix (Master or almost Master) (1)
HP Plus (Enough for HP to be 9,999) (3)
Mime (Master) (3)
W-Summon (Master) (1)
MP Plus (Enough for MP to be 999) (2)
Time (Enough to get "Haste") (2)
All (Basic) (2)

The best way to equip your characters is this:

Character 1: This is your main fighter. It must be equipped with the best weapons and armor.
Equip it with materia . Also be sure to wear cloth HP Plus. Insert materia into another slot Mime. MP Plus + MP Plus matter will allow you not to worry about calling KOTR.

Character 2: Main support for 1 character. It should revive the entire party if you are killed by Emerald. All he needs is matter Mime in conjunction with Final Attack And Phoenix. He also needs matter MP Plus. Equip it with materia too All + Time in case something goes wrong.

Character3: The character who should help the first two. Give him matter Mime And HP Plus. You can also equip it with materia Time + All.

Boss: EMERALD WEAPON

HP: 1.900.000
EXP: 50,000
AP: 50.000

If the first turn goes to 2-3 characters, cast Haste for the whole party ( Time + All). If it's character 1 then use W-Summon + Knights Of The Round. Next move use Mime And KOTR X 2. Next again Mime to create a chain of matter throws KOTR. Once the turn returns to character 1, use again Mime. If the boss kills your entire party one by one, don't worry, character 2 will restore it again with Final Attack And Phoenix.
After revival, the first moves will be on character 2 or 3. No need to use materia anymore Mime, because you will start calling Phoenix instead of KOTR. As soon as character 1 gets a turn, call W-Summon + Knights Of The Round. And repeat the chain of attacks again. After about 20 minutes the boss will throw back his fins.

After the battle you will receive EARTH HARP. Now head to Kalm and exchange with the old man in one of the houses for MASTER MAGIC MATERIA, MASTER COMMAND MATERIA and MASTER SUMMON MATERIA.

RUBY WEAPON

Ruby Weapon has less lives, than Emerald, but it is less predictable and has a more cunning strategy. You can find him in the desert near the Golden Saucer.

This will sound strange, but you need to kill two characters before the battle. If there is only one hero in the party at the beginning of the battle, Ruby will not be able to use his signature attacks. Equip this character Ribbon, so as not to be susceptible to various attacks that change the character's status. You should also have max HP and a decent amount of MP (~600).

For the battle you need:

Command Counter (Master) (1)
Mime (Master) (1)
Knights Of The Round (Master) (1)
HP Absorb (Master) (1)
HP Plus (Enough for HP to be 9,999) (1)
MP Plus (Enough for MP to be 999) (1)

WARNING: Matter Command Counter it's not the same as COUNTERATTACK. Command Counter- this is BLUE matter.

Character 1: This is the only hero in the battle and we put all the material on him.

Boss: RUBY WEAPON
HP: 1.550.000
EXP: 45.000
AP: 50.000

Start the battle by casting Knights On The Round on Ruby WEAPON. The boss will counterattack, and you, in turn, will counterattack thanks to Mime + Command Counter. But... You are counterattacking Knights Of The Round!!!
Yes, you will hit 100,000 HP and restore lives by the same amount, thanks HP Absorb.

For winning they will give DESERT ROSE. Trade DESERT ROSE with the old man in Kalm for a Golden Chocobo.

Money Fraud
Go to the city of Mancharia and go to the upper right corner of the house (north). Click X standing in front of the clock. Once you receive the card, use it until you have $0 left. Then go back to the clock and press again X, then you won’t have more money on your card, but in the end there will be a lot of money in other accounts.

Super Speed on Chocobo
You will need to press the following buttons L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 during the race to win easily.

Lucky Case for Barrett
Get Varret to level seventy, and then provide him with a Missing Score and a Wizard Bracelet.
Then you will need to give him the following materia:
Fivefold increase in hit points (one star)
Summon Phoenix (two stars)
Time (two stars)
Barrier (two stars)
Complete cure (two stars)
Destruction (three stars)
You can then equip Barret with as much yellow materia as you like, as it will not affect his hit points. Using this combination, Barret will be able to bring his hit points to a remarkable 7777, allowing him to deal 7777 points of damage when he hits an enemy.

Produce 99 items
In order to use this cheat code you will need to have W-matter, as well as at least two copies of the item you want to produce. When you are in battle, select the item you intend to produce, and then press the following combination of buttons: circle, circle, X, then continue to press Circle and X. You can also use this method to increase your cash flow. You will just need to go to the Chocobo's owner's house and buy two green Silkies from him. Use the above method to get 99 pieces of the same Silkis. You can then sell them all for 2500 gold each.

Additional income
When you find yourself in Wonder Square, take a look at the slot machine hall. There are a couple there that allow you to earn some local currency (GP). These are G-Bike (a simulator of biker showdowns, the very first mini-game on disc 1) and Super Dunk (a simulator of basketball). Both games have secrets. If you earn 10,000 points while playing G-Bike, Cloud will receive 10 GP.

Level up your characters to the maximum. Moreover, getting the best weapons and armor won't hurt either. You will need the following materia: Mime, Final Attack, Phoenix Summon and x2 Attack. Make sure everyone has their latest Limit Break available, especially Cloud's Omnislash, the strongest of them all.

Pump up the above-described matter as much as possible. This stage will require a lot of time and patience from you. It's best to get the Apocalypse Sword for Cloud in the jungle with the frogs, as it triples the experience gained for all materia equipped to it. You need to upgrade all of the listed materia not only to unlock their full potential, but to make copies of them and give them to other characters. Just pump them up until all the materia reach the maximum level, create their own copy, and then pump them up again. The more there are, the better.

Prepare for the battle itself. Make sure all characters have their limit gauge filled before attacking the boss. Make sure Cloud, another party member, and anyone in the reserve are equipped with Mime Materia. Next, equip the “Final Attack” materia in conjunction with summoning the Phoenix - with this combination, the death of this character will summon the Phoenix, which will resurrect the entire group. This is the key to survival in those cases when the Emerald Weapon decides to use its evil attack "Death to All".

At the beginning of the battle, use Wall and Regen magic on all group members. Don't use limits until you do this, then use Omnislash, Cloud's limit. Don't let others push your limits. Instead, skip their turns until it's Cloud's turn, and then use the Mime skill on them. Repeat this process as many times as you can. Omnislash hits 15 times, and when maxed out, it will deal 9999 damage per hit, which is almost 15000 damage per skill.

The secret to maximizing damage is Limits and Mime. Some people prefer the Knights of the Round challenge, but unless you have a Golden Chocobo and underwater breathing material, the fight will last strictly 20 minutes. It's important to deal as much damage as possible in a short time, and the long animation of the Knights of the Table works against your time limit.

Mime also duplicates the item for free. That is, you can use Mega Elixir to fully heal a party, and then fake it for reuse.

Make sure that the party member with the Final Attack > Phoenix combo equipped has enough MP. If he/she doesn't have enough mana when dying, they won't be able to resurrect the group and your efforts will go down the drain. Be aware of the MP draining attacks of the Emerald Weapon and use the appropriate items.

If Cloud dies but the other members remain alive, use their limits and imitate them with Mime in the same way. The Boss will kill your characters numerous times throughout the battle, so it's better to spend your steps attacking/recovering rather than resurrecting. Wait for the connection Final Attack > Phoenix to be activated.

We offer you the most complete collection of tips regarding the passage of this game. Since FF7 is a non-linear RPG, this means that the solutions offered to you in this description, are not the only possible ones. Likewise, although some of the secrets of this game will certainly be revealed in this guide, there are sure to be some that will escape our scrutiny.

On some of the maps attached to the article, you can see “critical points” of locations marked with circles. White marks indicate hidden items, orange marks individual locations such as shops, caves, passages and secret rooms.

First, a few tips for the beginning “dreamer.”
There are many places within the game where you can save your game. This is simply necessary, since in FF7 there are many places that are quite difficult to get through the first time, or monsters that require your special attention and the use of only individual spells.
It will be very useful to talk to everyone, and this should be done even several times. Some of the characters will not share their thoughts with you until you seem persistent enough to them.
Many of the main events in the game's storyline occur, as a rule, after some actions taken either by the player or the forces opposing him. If suddenly something like this happens, then it makes sense to lose some time and visit those places you have already been to and which are located near the “epicenter” of the event. It is likely that something has changed there too.
If you are lucky enough to have any type of transportation (this will happen for the first time after visiting the Golden Saucer Amusement Park), try to use it as efficiently as possible and leave it only in places where it will be easy to use later. Do not forget that during the game you will not only constantly be in new places, but also often return to old ones. This is where the stored machines will come in handy. Chickens can almost always be used as a means of transport, but this is not the best choice. The fact is that when traveling on the back of this faithful friend, you cannot meet everyday enemies on the road, and this deprives you of the opportunity to earn money and pump up your heroes. And since the strength of the monsters does not grow along with yours, but only as the game progresses, the day may well come when you will not be able to cope even with ordinary road robbers.

Items.

Among the most useful items that you must have in battle (and preferably in large quantities), there are three particularly important types: Potion, Ether and Phoenix Down. The first restores health in various quantities, the second helps restore magical abilities, and the third makes it possible to revive a hero killed by a monster.
A very important point that can greatly simplify your life in the game is the proper organization of all the belongings that you carry with you. At first, this will not be a big problem, but when you have dozens of different items in your duffel bag, you should think about how best to organize them. The principle is very simple - all the essentials go up, the rest down.
Very useful "extra" items are potions with Source in their name. These wonderful items can, after being consumed by a hero, increase any of his parameters by a whole point. If you try to collect these items whenever possible, you can very quickly improve the characteristics of the heroes.
During the game you will find some items that seem completely useless at first glance, but in fact they also have their own way of using them. Look at the description and think about how they can be used in battle. As a rule, items are given to the player for almost immediate use. For example, simple Potions are best used at the beginning of the game, since they can only restore 100 health units. This works well when monsters are capable of inflicting 20-50 points of damage in one blow, but what, one wonders, should be done if some dragon is blazing so much that it can cause a good 1000 points of damage at a time? Naturally, a simple Potion is not enough here. We'll have to use something else.

Weapons and protection.

You should always equip your heroes with the best armor and the most advanced weapons available at a given level. To do this, you should go to stores more often, and also periodically check the contents of your pockets - what if there is already something more advanced than what your heroes wear?
Without denying what was said above, we nevertheless note that in addition to the force of impact, magical properties are also important for uniforms. How many slots for matter a particular sword or chain mail has, what effect this has on its growth - all these parameters are very important.
You don't have to buy new uniforms for all the heroes. In principle, if you constantly use the services of only one team, updating the equipment of the remaining, inactive characters is not necessary.
Some accessories that can also be used by heroes during battles can seriously increase your capabilities. For example, a monster equipped with only one water weapon will not be able to do anything to a hero equipped with a Water Ring. Also, such items can help you use normally destructive healing spells.
Use the type of weapon and armor that best suits the characters' tasks. Fighters should use less matter, and their swords should be more powerful. Such characters should stand on the battlefield closer to the enemy. For magicians, close contact is not necessary. Their weapons should have many slots for matter, and a wide variety of them. Since most spells reduce the hero's ability to fight and defend, but increase magical abilities, make sure that matter is not used in vain. In short, if it is not used, it is better to simply replace it with something else.

Matter and spells.

You can buy quite a large amount of a wide variety of materials in numerous stores. While most new spells are unlocked by materia just lying around in a hidden spot or on a monster's cheek, you can almost always count on buying some particularly popular materia for a second copy. For example, just one fighter with the Heal spell is clearly not enough for an effective backup system for heroes.
One of the most useful materia is All, which allows the character, by synthesizing any spell that is in combination in the slots of weapons or armor along with this matter, to influence all enemies or allies with it. The most effective combinations of using All are Lightning, Fire, Ice, Cure, Life. However, you can always use this matter in your own way.
Each type of matter gives the character to whom it is given some abilities and imposes some restrictions. As a rule, this is an increase in MP (magic) and a decrease in HP (health), as well as a slight increase in spell power and a decrease in strike power. Try not to overload heroes with matter, which reduces health. If, for example, you equip a character with ten types of matter, each of which reduces health by 5 percent, then the hero will become half as weak. But it will work out! really powerful magician.
Some types of matter do not cause direct damage to the enemy, but give you a number of really important bonuses in battle. Using materia like Time and Mystify will help you win battles with significantly less losses.
Matter is a living being, the embodiment of the energy of the planet and, like any living being, it has the ability to “nurture” and grow, acquiring new abilities. After each battle, all types of matter at the disposal of your heroes grow a little, as if gaining experience. When this experience passes a certain point, matter becomes capable of producing a new, more powerful spell. Matter is also capable of reproducing and after some time of growth it will begin to reproduce itself. If you don't need the spells this matter produces, sell it. Otherwise, your heroes will be able to replenish their reserves of valuable spells.

Battle.

Characters equipped with melee weapons, such as Cloud, Tifa, Aeris and some others, are only able to inflict maximum damage on the enemy if they are standing on the front flank and if the enemy is also standing close to them. Characters who wield firearms, such as Barret, are not affected by this.
Some monsters (usually bosses) cannot be killed using melee weapons. You will have to either use firearms or use magic. Such monsters include, for example, the boss from the elevator in the Shinra Building. If you beat him without using magic or a Barret machine gun, it will take too much time.
In the event that your level of combat training seems too low for the moment of the game in which you are, or you want to fill your pockets with more banknotes, then there is a very simple and at the same time very effective way to kill these two hares at the same time. Go to some town with a hotel and travel around it, fighting monsters and gaining experience and money. If your health level has dropped sharply, go into the city and rest in a hotel (fortunately, it’s very cheap and allows you to fully restore your magical and physical strength). Next, return to point one, and so on until you get tired of it.
If this is not your first time traveling through the area, remember what monsters mainly live here (each place, as a rule, has its own set of creatures). If, for example, there live mainly monsters who use fire weapons, prepare a large amount of ice materials for the heroes. This will make it much easier to get through.
During the battle, try to concentrate your attacks on one monster until it is destroyed. This will help you conduct the battle with maximum efficiency. If enemy fighters and magicians take part in the battle at the same time, then most likely it is worth destroying the magicians first, otherwise they simply will not let you cope with the “punchers”.
You shouldn’t immediately give your heroes orders to attack one monster. If he manages to die after the first attack, then the other two heroes, to whom the order has already been given, will begin to attack the monsters randomly. You should always wait until the blow of the previous team member ends, and only then give the order to the next one.
In battle (especially against strong monsters with great hitting power), you can use defensive magic. Any barrier placed by your mage in front of the fighters will give you very good protection and significantly reduce losses.
Most of the monsters in the game have strong and weak spots. Your main task should be to scout out these places in order to fight them most effectively. Some monsters are weak against certain spells (usually those that counteract their nature, i.e. fire-ice, etc.). Some people do not tolerate various types of delaying magic and paralyzing spells well. It's worth experimenting.

Combinations of matter.

Using different combinations of matter in a weapon or armor will help you add some properties to that weapon or armor. Typically, a combination added to a sword or spear will allow you to use an additional effect in attacks, and a combination added to armor will allow you to avoid similar attacks more effectively. >>> Added Effect +
Transform - allows you to sometimes transform an enemy.
Poison - during a strike there is a high probability of poisoning the monster.
Contain - can stop a monster for a while, make it “fall asleep”.
Seal - in the same way allows you to delay time for further attacks.
Time - makes the enemy move slower.

>>>Mega All+
Steal - allows you to use the stealing skill against all opponents at the same time.
Deathblow - You will be able to hit your opponent with Deathblow every turn. Some monsters also use this combination with success.

>>>Elemental+
Works with most standard attack materia, allowing you to add another element to your attack. If used in armor, it allows you to protect the hero from these types of attacks.

>>> HP/MR Absorb +
Deathblow - allows you to get more magic and health than in a normal move.
Steal - allows you to steal magic and health along with items. When used with most standard attack spells, it allows you to sharply reduce their cost by pumping out a certain amount of magic from the enemy’s body after casting the spell.
Quad Magic - used with spells that summon spirits, as well as with all standard attack materia. Allows you to generate a spell four times in a row in one turn.

Complex combinations:

Mega-All, Deathblow-HP/MP Absorb - allows you to restore health and magic, while at the same time causing significant damage to the enemy.
Mega-All, Steal-HP/MP Absorb - attacking an opponent and trying to steal items from him, coupled with restoring magic and health?
Knights of the Round-W-Summon, Mime - allows you to perform the most powerful of all Summons with only 500 MP. It also makes it possible to carry out a very large reaction. Sneak Attack - Knights of the Round - allows you to start the battle by using this powerful spell.
Sneak Attack-Deathblow, Mega-All - allows you to start the battle by defeating all opponents with Deathblow.
Sneak Attack-Steal, Mega-All - damages all enemies, allowing you to steal an item from each.
Pre-Emptive, Sneak Attack-Knights of the Round, HPMP - allows you to start the battle with Knights of the Round, and a character with HPMP can use the attack multiple times without requiring a rest.

Characters and Limits.

Each of the characters available to you has special skills that they can show in battle as a result of receiving a certain amount of damage. As a result, they become enraged over time, and the retaliatory blow they can inflict on the offender is often extremely powerful. The technique for managing limits is quite simple - you can select the limit level (from those currently available) and simply wait until the implementation of the limit becomes possible. It is quite clear that each subsequent level of limits is more powerful than the previous one, and more time (damage) is needed to take advantage of it. In principle, with the help of limits you can destroy very significant monsters, and they can also provide invaluable support in battles with bosses.

Cloud Strife.
A strong fighter with very extraordinary fencing skills. The game's storyline is mainly built around this hero, so you will almost always be required to include him in the team. This hero is best placed in the front row so that he can fully demonstrate all his abilities. Despite the fact that he can also be used as a mage, this character will still be more valuable in close combat. You should not overload it with matter - this will only make it weaker.

>>>Level 1
Braver - A powerful blow that typically cuts a monster in half. One of the most effective techniques against fairly serious monsters at the initial stage of the game (on the first continent).
Cross-Slash - Several targeted attacks on a separate monster. Somewhat weaker than the first limit, but capable, if the monster survives the blow, to paralyze it. This technique is effective against almost all monsters, with the exception of only some bosses.

>>>Level 2
Blade Beam - A blast wave emanating from the hero's sword hits the monster, and then waves of slightly less destructive force emanate from it, which can nevertheless cause enough damage to all other monsters. This limit should always be aimed at the strongest monster, since the primary wave is always much stronger.
Climhazzard - Two sword strikes with great energy. The first is somewhat weaker than the second. Typically used against a single boss. Capable of causing enough damage that this limit can be used almost until the very end of the game. Combination of impact power with short preparation time.

>>>Level 3
Meteorain - A small meteor shower that can affect up to four monsters. Despite the obviousness of its purpose, it still works best against a single enemy, since in this case it can inflict up to 12,000 points of damage.
Finishing Touch - A huge whirlwind is generated that sends all monsters on the ground high into the sky. Damage is caused to them not by the limit, but by actually falling back to the ground. This limit is especially effective against large groups of monsters, since many of them, even if they were lighter, may not fall out of the sky at all.

>>>Level 4
Omnislash - An exceptionally powerful limit, which consists of delivering many consecutive blows to one of the monsters, the energy from which also affects the rest. In principle, it is capable of causing damage equal to or even greater than Knights of the Round matter.

Barrett Wallace.
An exceptionally colorful and original character, who often becomes the culprit of many funny episodes. This formidable, powerful fighter, who does not disdain light swearing, is not distinguished by great intelligence and is not capable of becoming a good magician. But he is quite good at using his machine gun, which is built into his right hand, or rather, attached instead of his right hand. Barret should stand in the back row most of the time, as this will help him take less damage and fight in full force. Under no circumstances should you overload it with matter. In general, it’s better not to burden him with it. All sorts of magical things have a bad effect on his combat effectiveness. Perhaps you should limit yourself to the simplest spells or neutral matter that does not change parameters.

>>>Level 1
Big Shot - a large fireball that flies out of a machine gun, can have a very impressive effect on the enemy’s health, but only at the very early stages of the game, then this limit no longer justifies itself.
Mindblow - The same ball of energy, only blue, can significantly reduce the ability of monsters to use magic. Later, as the game progresses, this limit also becomes useless.

>>>Level 2
Grenade Bomb - Barret throws a grenade into the thick of enemies, which, of course, explodes there and causes a lot of damage. Limit is very effective when fighting a group of monsters.
Hammerblow - With a very noticeable push in the direction of the Sun, the hero sends the monster to walk in orbit. It is advisable to use the limit against a single opponent. Doesn't work against owl bosses.

>>>Level 3
Satellite Beam - Barret calls his old friends to help and they bombard all the monsters in the battle. This attack is capable of draining 3-4 thousand health points from each of them. While limit is indeed effective against a group of monsters, it won't do much good against one.
Ungarmax - Large-scale shelling of a group of enemies with a heavy machine gun. There are significantly more hits than when using Satellite Beam, but the firing power is slightly less. In this limit, a lot depends on luck.

>>>Level 4
Catastrophe - Barret flies into the air and pours a sea of boiling plasma onto the heads of unfortunate enemies. The limit is indeed very, very powerful, but against one enemy it will not be truly highly effective, since the wave of plasma is designed to confuse all the monsters participating in the battle.

Tifa Lockheart.
Tifa - An old friend of the main character and one of the most active members of the Avalanche group, she is far from the strongest character in the game. She fights mainly with her fists, and her attacks, as a rule, are much weaker than those of Cloud or Barret. However, at the very beginning of the game she can help you with her limits, which throughout the entire action are not at all primitive.

>>>Level 1
Beat Rush is a fast combination of hits that is boosted or weakened by the arcade machine's thrust, prompting you to play "cards" for the limit each time it plays.
Somersault - Tifa jumps and hits one of the monsters hard. Another throw follows. This limit is most convenient to use against one opponent.

>>>Level 2
Waterkick is a standard combination of attacks, the only difference being that as a result of one of them, a stream of water falls on enemies.
Meteodrive is another combination of attacks that will most likely leave the monster lying on the ground. Again, effectiveness is ensured only against one enemy.

>>>Level 3
Dolphin Blow - Instead of the fifth blow in this combination, a dolphin appears that hits the enemy hard.
Meteor Strike - After carrying out the next execution, Tifa is sent somewhere very high, after which it falls on the head of the unfortunate monster with enormous force.

>>>Level 4
Final Heaven - This limit allows Tifa to express all her dissatisfaction with the enemy. Her fist acquires the ability to hit an opponent with the force of a nuclear explosion. Naturally, after such a blow, few will survive.

Aeris Gainsborough.
Undoubtedly, the most attractive heroine of the game, Aeris, is a representative of the extinct civilization of the Ancients, and therefore her mental abilities are truly amazing in their depth. Aeris, of course
strong in magic and most suitable for the role of guardian of matter. In Aeris society, matter grows and reproduces better, and this heroine uses it in the best possible way. Aeris should always stand slightly behind, freeing up space for the fighters on the ground. Her defensive limits are also super useful, and early in the game Aeris is a MUST be on your team.

>>>Level 1
Healing Wind is the most important of the limits to start the game. Summons a wind that partially heals all your heroes. For the beginning of the game, the health recovery level of about 300-800, provided by this fairly common limit, really helps to seriously save energy.
Seal Evil - Aeris sends a certain force to all monsters, forcing them to stop and become silent for a long time. At this time, your heroes may well deal with the remnants of the enemy army, who are not even capable of responding to blows. Most bosses will not be affected by this limit.

>>>Level 2
Breath of the Earth - Magical power can cleanse all your heroes from various kinds of curses, poisoning, and paralyzing spells.
Fury Brand is an extremely useful limit that helps the rest of your squad members gain the amount of “anger” required for the limit as quickly as possible.

>>>Level 3
Planet Protector - Aeris creates a special barrier around all heroes, which makes them completely invulnerable for a while. Can be used during fights with large and very powerful monsters and bosses. Pulse of Life - With the help of prayer, Aeris is able to cure all her comrades from various kinds of “diseases”, as well as partially restore to them the health and magic lost during the battle.

>>>Level 4
Great Gospel - Birds of paradise summoned by Aeris fly in and completely restore the health and magic of the heroes and make them invulnerable for a while. It should be noted that this limit can seriously help you in many battles with large and very large monsters.

Red XIII (5)
The life story of this very interesting character is rather vague. It is only known that he lived and studied for a long time in one of the villages with a very powerful magician, after which he was taken by Shinra Inc for some strange experiments. This character is good both as a fighter and as a magician. While he can fight with long-range weapons, they don't hold much materia and therefore won't be wise to use. Red XIII should always fight on the front line.

>>>Level 1
Sled Fang - Red XIII rushes at the enemy with great speed and pierces him right through, causing a lot of damage.
Lunatic High - Envelops your entire team in a greenish fog, and all heroes are affected by Haste, which actually speeds up the reaction of your warriors.

>>>Level 2
Blood Fang is a kind of advanced version of the first limit, but this time the breakthrough is even more powerful, and as a gift Red XIII receives a certain amount of magic taken from the monster.
Stardust Ray - Causes a big mess in the sky, and many stars fall on enemies, causing a lot of trouble. If you don't need the magic boost, use this limit better, as it can do more damage to all enemies than Blood Fang.

>>>Level 3
Howling Moon - Red XIII casts Berserk and Haste on himself, making him a very fast and dangerous opponent for the rest of the battle. However, when using this limit, Red XIII loses the ability to use magic and help other teammates.
Earth Rave - Attacks all enemies with several powerful volleys of magical blasts. Ultimately, it brings more benefits than Howling Moon, since it allows you to use the hero’s capabilities even after completing the limit. In addition, it causes a lot of harm to the enemy.

>>>Level 4
Cosmo Memory. - A powerful charge of fiery energy affects all monsters; some of them, which have developed immunity to fire and plasma, will not be fully affected, but will still cause damage.

Cid Highwind.
This character will not appear at your disposal at the very beginning of the game and will become available closer to its middle. The fighting qualities of this hero do not raise any doubts about his attacks.
always accurate and on target. Limits are mainly based on defeating a large number of opponents.

>>>Level 1
Boost Jump - A fast and very effective attack that allows you to knock down almost any not-so-strong monster in one go.
Dynamite - Cid takes out a large bundle of dynamite and, of course, throws it into the crowd of monsters. This whole wonderful thing explodes, sending most of the unlucky enemies to their forefathers. Once Cid learns this limit, it is worth switching to using it exclusively.

>>>Level 2
Hyper Jump - Cid jumps high into the sky and slams his sword into the ground with great force, causing a huge explosion that affects all opponents. Ideally used against large groups, but the effect will be good against one opponent.
Dragon - The hero summons a dragon, which strongly bites one of the opponents, and then transfers his magic and health to Cid."

>>>Level 3
Dragon Dive - Using this limit allows you to create several very large explosions in the enemy camp. This limit is the strongest of the third level limits, since it causes a lot of damage to all monsters.
Big Brawl - Multiple stab wounds received by monsters as a result of you applying this limit will allow you to confidently say about their short life. The number of attacks is greater than in Dragon Dive, but their power is less.

>>>Level 4
Highwind - Cid calls in help from military aviation units, who are happy to drop some very powerful bombs on the heads of enemies. Limit is most effective against a single opponent, as it can actually squeeze about 10-15 thousand health points out of him in one sitting.

Yuffie Kisaragi.
Yuffie is one of the secret characters who can be found in the forest, where she trains in the arts of the ninja. She is a good fighter at long distances, in addition to this, she is good at using matter. In principle, it’s better for her to stand somewhere in the back, with her pockets full of various types attack magic.

>>>Level 1
Greased Lightning - Quite a powerful attack against one enemy. Capable of destroying a mid-tier monster.
Clear Tranquil - Blue energy balls that appear around your party members, allowing them to restore some health. In principle, it is somewhat analogous to Aeris’s Healing Wind, but somewhat weaker.

>>>Level 2
Landscaper - The spell used by Yuffie causes the ground under his enemies' feet to explode with terrible force. The limit can have a very significant impact on large group enemies, and for some big monster it will be no more terrible than an ordinary blow.
Bloodfest - Yuffie sends ten powerful waves of magic at enemies, causing considerable damage. Unlike the previous limit, this one can be used against one opponent.

>>>Level 3
Gauntlet - An effective technique against a large group of monsters standing in a ring, exploding a huge ice crystal in its very center.
Doom of the Living - Almost a complete analogue of Bloodfest, except for the amount of damage inflicted on the enemy and greater effectiveness against a single enemy.

>>>Level 4
All Creation - Yuffie throws a huge beam of light into a crowd of monsters, burning them alive. This very powerful limit can be used both against a group and against single opponents.

Cait Sith.
This purely Japanese character looks like a crazy cat traveling on a cushion-like elephant robot. In addition to all this, Cait, in his own opinion, has the ability to predict the future. This hero entered your “gang” only out of curiosity whether his predictions would come true. You can find it in Gold Saucer Park. He doesn't show himself as a good fighter or magician, but any other character can envy his limits.

>>>Level 1
Dice - Since our hero is unusual, his limits are equally unpredictable. This, for example, attack limit determines the amount of damage caused to the enemy by throwing dice. The higher the number, the stronger the blow.

>>>Level 2
Slots - This limit is even more original, because its outcome is determined using a mini-slot machine of the “one-armed bandit” type. These are the possible layouts: Three stars: restoration of health, magic and prosperous status to the entire team. Three Crowns: Six tin soldiers appear and attack all monsters at once, causing very significant damage. Three BAR: Cait uses any spell he can think of at random to summon spirits. Three MOG: It's not even clear whether this is a good limit or not. Judge for yourself, Cait turns into a huge version of himself and completes the battle on his own, after which only he will receive experience, and all team members' health will be reduced to 3333, while magic will be reduced to 333 points.
Three Hearts: The ability to hit and the power of the blow for all heroes become the best.
Two Cats and BAR: This unlucky spell means the immediate death of all your heroes, followed by the words Game Over. This arrangement is extremely rare.
Three cats: Instant victory over all enemies. It is also very rare.

Vincent Valentine.
Another secret character is a comrade sleeping in a coffin - one of the most unusual characters in the game with a very original way of thinking and a passion for black stuff. A very strong fighter like Barret, and also a good magician. He can be a good help in battle, but sometimes he becomes uncontrollable, and then it is generally unknown what he will do. Quite unpredictable in his actions - both in the plot and in battles.

>>>Level 1
Galian Beast - Transforms into a purple monster and deals several powerful blows with the help of fire spells.

>>>Level 2
Death Gigas - Transforms into something resembling Dr. Frankinstein's brainchild and blasts enemies with electricity.

>>>Level 3
Hellmasker - Vincent turns into a zombie with a chainsaw and can either hit someone with it several times, or use any of the "stopping" spells on monsters.

>>>Level 4
Chaos - The hero transforms into a large demon, which is capable of seriously undermining the vital foundations of enemies. As a rule, more or less normal monsters do not survive such an attack and die almost instantly.
Some limits are given to you as a gift from different characters, some you can earn in battle. Some are simply lying around somewhere in a cave or some other secluded corner. Here are the paths to some of them, the most powerful:

>>> Cloud - Omnislash.
Go to the Battle Arena in Gold Saucer Park and keep fighting until you get at least 32,000 points. These points can be exchanged for a new limit.

>>> Barret- Catastrophe.

>>> Tifa- Final Heaven.

After playing the melody, click on Start. Search the notes and get a new limit. >>> Aeris - Great Gospel. Return to Junon and talk to the dozing old man, but only if the last two digits of your battle count are the same, for example 144, 133, 166. The old man will give you a piece of Mithrill, which can be exchanged for a limit.

>>> Yuffie - All Creation. Return to hometown Yuffie and fight Godo, her father, on the roof of the Pagoda of the Five Great Gods.

>>> Vincent - Chaos. Can only be obtained if you have a submarine or a golden Chocobo. Go to Lucrecia Cave, which is located in the northeast of the map, behind the waterfall near Nibelheim. Visit the cave together in Vincent while you're on disc two. When you reach disk #3, go into the cave again and get the limit.

>>> Red XIII - Cosmo Memory.
When you get to Shinra Mansion, open the safe and fight the Boss. You will receive the limit after you deal with him.

>>> Super weapon. Each of your heroes can get the best weapon for themselves - the most powerful, capacious and causing the greatest harm to the enemy. However, it is also quite difficult to find.

>>> Cloud -Ultima Weapon.
To obtain this weapon, you must fly over the crater in the eastern part of the continent and fight the Ultima Weapon to claim it for yourself.

>>> Vincent - Death Penalty
You must first get a golden Chocobo or a submarine, go to Lucrecia Cave, first being on the second disk, and then on the third.

Walkthrough.

>>> Mako Reactor #1
At the very beginning, on the platform, do not forget to search the soldier's body, then go into the depths of the picture - several soldiers will attack you there. Attacking them is not difficult at all, and you won't need magic here.
The road to the reactor is blocked by two large doors that your friends will open, just talk to them. A little further, having already gone down the elevator, you will find a place where you can save the game. On the floor in front of the reactor you will find Restore Materia, which you cannot use for now. But you still need to take it.

>>> Boss: Guard Scorpion
Attack him with Bolt magic and regular attacks. Don't forget to use Potions when necessary. At the moment when he uses his signature tail attack, it is better to wait a little and not take any action.
After this fight you will have less than 10 minutes to get out of the building. On the way back, do not forget to help free Jessie, who is stuck on some iron structure, otherwise no one will let you out. All contractions must be completed as quickly as possible. If something happens, try to escape by pressing L1+R1 at the same time.

The Getaway.
You need to walk to the train waiting at the station. After you meet up with your gang mates, talk to everyone.

Back at HQ.
Barret calls all the team members to the bar, where Tifa is the hostess. You can explore the village, then go to the bar. Talk to the team, then pretend to leave. You will be asked to stay to take part in new Avalanche operations.

Sector 7 Slums.
Visit a gun store, buy Iron Bangles and sell Bronze Bangles. Then go up to the training center. You don’t have to talk to anyone there, but picking up the All matter is very useful (Fig. 1).

Sector 5 Reactor.
On the train, you will have to quickly move around the cars to avoid falling into the hands of the guards. Set your text speed to maximum and you will be able to receive some gifts from passengers. Talk to the man lying on the seat and he will give you a Phoenix Down. In the second carriage, you can receive a Hi-Potion from the person standing closest to the carriage door. In the last carriage, talk to Tifa. Next you will have to jump off the train. You will find yourself in a small labyrinth, which is very easy to navigate. All you have to do is follow the rule: move forward all the time.
The reactor looks exactly the same as the first one, so it will be easy for you to navigate. On the way back, save the game and stay for a while, completing the limit for Cloud. At the crossroads you will be surrounded by soldiers, and after a short dialogue with the President of the corporation, another boss will attack you.

>>> Boss: Air Buster
Use more limits and magic. This boss is not difficult to defeat, but try to hit him in the back more often, and the fight will end sooner. After a very dramatic scene, fall down to meet your fate.

The Flower Girl
Once you meet Aeris, you become her bodyguard. When she gets attacked, tell her to wait a bit and run towards the four barrels that you can drop on the enemies' heads. If you fail, Aeris will have to fight alone with the soldiers three times in a row. After this, escape through the hole in the roof of the temple.

Sector 5 Slums
Talk to everyone, and then go to Aeris's house, where you can find Ether and another Cover materia in the garden. Go to bed, and then very quietly, so as not to wake Aeris, leave the house. Aeris will catch up with you at the entrance to the sixth sector, and there will no longer be any guards there.

Sector 6
Go to the playground and talk to Aeris there. At this point you will see a rich cart containing Tifa. Follow her on Wall Market.

Wall Market
In this really big city you have to solve the first more or less difficult riddle in the game. To get to Tifa, which is located in the house of the head of the city, you need to change into a woman's dress. Go to the clothing store and talk to the saleswoman, then go to the bar and try to drag the tailor from there. Select the type of dress: soft, shimmers. Now you need a wig, which you can get at the gym. There you will have to take part in an arcade game of squats. If you can squat quickly and often, the wig is yours. Go back to the store and try it on. Then go to the mansion. Enter the open door on the second floor. After that, you will have to go on a date and be rejected. As a result, you will have to fight a little with the guards. After that, go look for Aeris (she is sitting in the basement) and head to the tycoon's bedroom. Behind the bed there is a nice gift - Hyper (Fig. 2).

Train Graveyard
>>> Boss: APS.
This strange creature often harms itself and others with its water attack. Use a fire spell. Limit Cross-Slash can paralyze the monster.
Next, you will have to wander a little through the labyrinths, as shown in the pictures. The letters indicate some of the items that can be found in these places. (Fig. 3, 4)

The Pillar Assault
You arrive at Sector 7 just in time to engage in a fight with Shinra. Be sure to save the game. At the top of the tower you will meet Barret. Take the time to equip him with the newest weapons and armor.

>>> Boss: Reno
He is far from the most powerful boss in the game, and you can deal with him easily, just don’t let him imprison your heroes in pyramids that do not allow them to participate in the battle. To remove the pyramid, you just need to hit it with one of the free characters.
To climb up in the sixth sector after the battle, use the rope in the picture with the walls covered in writing. Before doing this, it is absolutely necessary to buy batteries from the store for 300 Gil. On the next screen you need to use batteries in the places indicated in the picture, and then jump from one piece of cable to another (Fig. 5, 6)

Shinra HQ.
Save your game. You can enter the building through the front entrance or sideways through the back entrance. Of course, there will be more attacks when passing through the front door. Next you will have to spend some time looking for access cards to all large floors of the building. On the 60th floor you need to carefully make your way past the guards, very quietly and carefully, hiding behind the statues. On the 61st floor, talk to the guy hanging around the stairs. On the 62nd floor, visit the mayor of Domino - he will give you access cards to the 65th floor. If you solve his riddle the first time, you can get Elemental Matter.
On the 63rd floor you can collect several very useful gizmos, the location of which is indicated on the map (Fig. 7). On the 64th floor you can save the game and relax. On the 65th floor there is a model of the city, in which some pieces are missing, located in the adjacent rooms indicated in the figure (Fig. 8). After completing the task, you will receive an access card to the 66th floor. On the 66th floor you need to do espionage, go into the toilet and get through the ventilation shaft into the room above the office. Eavesdrop on the conversation. Head to the 67th floor and follow Hojo, who will lead you to Aeris and two bosses.

>>> Boss: Sample H0512 and Sample H0512-Opt Focus your efforts on the rear monster, since the front ones depend on it. Barret is your best bet since he is proficient with firearms. After the fight you will receive the Talisman.
One of the employees can gain access to the 68th floor. After talking with the President, you go straight to prison. Talk to all your friends and go to rest. When you wake up, you will see that the door is open and the guards are dead. Search the guard and wake up Tifa. Follow the bloody trail to the office of the President, whom you will find dead.

>>> Boss: Hundred Gunner & Heli Gunner.
These bosses ride parallel to you on the elevator, so close attacks are not available to you. The only character that can hit these bosses with normal weapons is Barret. Bosses are weak against lightning, so use Bolt and Limits as often as possible.

>>> Boss: Rufus & Dark nation.
Take care of the panther first. If you have equipped the Cloud with the Elemental -Lightning combination, then you have nothing to worry about. Use limits and watch your health. In the next arcade section you will have to run away from an army of motorcyclists. Try not to let them hit the car in which the heroes are riding.

>>> Boss: Motor Ball.
Use lightning and standard attacks, and you will soon defeat him. After the battle you will receive a Star Pendant.
From now on, your path is clear. You leave the city and can go wherever you want. From this point on, the quest moments in the game will become less linear, and you will be able to often change tactics and make your own decisions. In this regard, we will only give solutions to the most difficult moments encountered later in the game.
First, head to Kalm, to the southeast, where friends are waiting for you. There, in the hotel, you will spend about an hour listening to a long and instructive story about the relationship between Cloud and Sepheroth.
On a chicken farm you need to buy a certain amount of food for the chickens in order to then catch yourself a transport that would
was able to take you through a dangerous place where a terrible worm is roaming, which at the moment cannot be defeated. The chicken is caught as follows. Go out to the map and walk around the tracks for a while. A battle will begin in which you will see a chicken in the background. Throughout the duration of the battle, it must be fed almost every turn, otherwise it will run away. In the future, you will often have to use chickens, and for this in FF7 there is a whole complex system for scenes of the state of chickens and their capabilities.
Try talking to the chickens in the pen, and they will give you extremely useful matter that allows you to summon a huge chicken in battle (Fig. 9)
Travel through the cave to the other side of the continent and explore each city. In Fort Condor you will be asked to help the fort's defenders deal with the soldiers. You will have to play a mini-strategy, quite simple.

In Junon Harbor there is a difficult place where you need to jump accurately. You will meet a little girl who can help. But first you have to fight the boss. Bottomswel is a flying boss, so not all of your characters can hit him. He sends bubbles at the heroes, which are similar to pyramids, but
can only be destroyed by magic. In the picture you can see the best place to jump onto the tower (Fig. 10) Stand in this place and call the dolphin.
In Junon you will have to remember your time as a military man. You will have to change into soldier's clothes and obey orders. The funniest thing is learning soldier's bearing, a rather difficult arcade game. A little practice and you will succeed. You need to get on the ship, where you will have another meeting with Sepheroth.

>>> Boss: Jenova -Birth.
Jenova is much stronger than you, so you should be as careful as possible. Use matter from the Summon category, the strongest. After winning, don't forget to pick up the valuable Itrit materia.
Golden Saucer Park (Fig. 11, 12) is one of the most beautiful and fun places in the game. To get there, you need to accumulate 3,000 coins, and a permanent pass costs 30,000. Over time, you will probably want to get it. Your main task during the passage is to win the chicken race. Each of them has its own parameters: speed, degree of fatigue, and so on. Basically, the most important thing in a race is not to overdo it with speed. It is quite enough if you spend the entire race in second or third place, and closer to the finish line you start like mad, using all the saved strength. If it doesn't work, you can try again.
In Gongaga Village you will meet two more Bosses - Reno and Rude. Try to paralyze them with the Seal Evil limit.
The Gi Cave route is available in the picture (Fig. 13).
There are some pretty tough monsters there, so speed of passage is very important. When fighting the Gi Nattak boss, be extremely careful, because he not only has very destructive attacks, but can also steal your health and magic. Try to use Summon class materia.
In Shinra Manshion in Nibleheim, you need to open a safe to gain access to a new character. The combination on the safe is: Right 36, Left 10, Right 59, Right 97. You will have twenty seconds to open the safe. But to do this, you must first find all the clues that lie under the piano (Fig. 14), are scratched on the board near the bedroom (Fig. 16), are drawn on the wall of the box in the round room (Fig. 15) and are simply written in sympathetic ink on the first piece of paper with hints in the left room on the first floor (Fig. 17). The boss will be difficult to deal with, but if Aeris uses Seal Evil, then there will be no problems.
Next, you can get a new member to join the team. To do this, go down the secret stairs to the basement and go into the crypt. Open the central coffin and talk to the character twice. He will join you later.
Hike through the mountain range, Mt. Nibel is quite complex and full of dangers. Here we point out some particularly interesting places (Fig. 18, 19)
After Rocket Town, where you will meet the new hero Cid, go to the Temple of the Ancients - Sepheroth is apparently going there too.
In Wutai you will meet Yuffie, who will initially decide to steal all your materia. You need to fight her by first running after her a little throughout the city. In the store you can buy very useful Fire Vests, which will come in handy in the future. In Padog you will have to fight five bosses:
Gorki - use the Elemental -Gravity combination and immediately use Haste.
Shake - In this battle you need to defend yourself quite well, with the help of Barrier. Haste wouldn't hurt either. The boss is capable of injuring up to 600 points at a time.
Checkov - Equip the Yuffie Jem Ring and you won't be afraid of this boss.
Staniv - The tactics for dealing with him are the same as with Shake.
Godo - This boss is difficult to defeat as he has three different types of attacks. To start, equip Yuffie with Counterattack, Heal, Cure, Time, Barrier, Added Effect-Poison. In battle, start with Haste, Barrier and focus on keeping track of your health. Use the Slow spell to gain speed.
The Temple of the Ancients is a rather confusing place, so we felt it necessary to show a small map. The letter O indicates a store that has a very good selection of goods. (Fig. 20, 21) You can deal with the red dragon as follows.
Start with Bio 2, then hit your squad with Haste and Barrier. It will also be very useful to give the dragon a soul from Deathblow. Demon's Gate is also a very powerful boss. And the most important thing in this case is to slow it down with Slow. Try to keep your health at 1000 points and you can easily pass this boss.
After the tragic death of Aeris (Fig. 22), you will have to fight another creature of evil - Jenova - Life. It is necessary to equip Cloud with a Water Ring, since the attacks of this boss are mainly water. Use DeBarrier, Haste and Quake of the second or third level. Unfortunately, healing spells will not be available here, so you will have to use Regen rather than Heal.
To cross Cross Glacier you will need a map (there is one on the wall in the Holzoff house).
I'll have to take up snowboarding. To avoid getting lost on a long descent, use a map that will show you where each path leads. Next, you will have to wander for quite a long time through the snow-covered plains, and the labyrinths there are far from the simplest. Next, we tried to show the path on the map in a simpler way, but, unfortunately, it seems that even with such hints it will be difficult to pass this area (Fig. 23 - preferably the entire page). Try to remember different rooms and locations so as not to get lost and, most importantly, not to freeze ahead of time (Fig. 24)
You may have some problems with the Shizo boss. The fact is that its right side is fiery, and its left is ice. In this regard, he can receive bonuses from both fire and ice spells. Try to use the right magic, preferably third level, on different sides of the monster.
Meeting Jenova -Death can be another difficult challenge. She uses two very powerful fire spells. You should use MBarrier, Haste, Slow, Regen. If the boss uses Silence on your team, prepare Esuma in response.
Now let's turn to the final section of the game. There are no places in the crater where you can record the game, but one of the crystals allows you to use the save only once. Use this opportunity wisely. Here are some maps that will help you find your way faster (Fig. 25). You can go several ways, and, in principle, it doesn’t matter. The only differences are in the objects that may be encountered along the way. Before the fight with Jenova - Synthesis, it is best to save (Fig. 26). The goal of this boss is most likely to weaken you as much as possible, so you should stock up on protective measures. Slash-All is a very useful combo for this battle.

Bizarro Sepheroth.
To defeat the boss at this stage, use Knights of the Round on all parts of the enemy's body to deal 70,000 points of damage to him. It is necessary to concentrate attacks on the enemy's right and left magical hands. During the battle, do not forget about your team members and use powerful healing 5reIs.

Safer Sepheroth.
Place Wall and attack your team with Regen and Haste. This boss's attacks always cause all sorts of effects that your team can be exposed to, so be prepared to counter it with Esuna or Remedi. Leave Wall for the entire battle and refresh it regularly, and use De Barrier to remove Sepheroth's barrier. Whenever using limits, try to use those that lead to mass destruction. If everything goes as it should, in principle, you won't have too much trouble destroying this final boss. That seems to be all. Watch the ending. Good luck with your game!
