Hello, residents of the Country of Mothers!
Today I want to show you beautiful voluminous crocheted roses. And perhaps someone will want to knit such roses, and I will tell you how to do it. I would like to immediately apologize for the quality of some photos (I took them late at night, after putting the children to bed)
I saw these roses and just fell in love. Schemes from some Chinese site.
So, you will need:
-yarn, I also have PELICAN (Vita Cotton). Composition: 100% double mercerized cotton. Thread length 330 m. Skein weight 50 g. and COCO (Vita Cotton). Composition:100% mercerized cotton. Thread length 240 m. Skein weight 50 g.
-hook, I have number 1.7
-wire- thinner so that it bends well, and thick for the stem, it should not bend under the weight of the rose.
- florenta Green colour
- glue, I used Moment, universal gel
- padding polyester, a small amount of
- beads or half beads, for dew drops
- a vessel where your rose will live, I have a small glass vase and decorative stones.

Girls, at the request of the copyright holder, I deleted the diagrams. I leave only my photographs of petals. If desired, the diagrams can be found in the public domain on the Internet. Many people copied this post into liveinternet diaries.

We knit three small petals. Make the initial circle of air loops as small as possible so that the hole is almost invisible. We hide the starting thread and leave a longer thread at the end so that later we have something to sew the rose together with.

We knit the next petals bigger size in the amount of also three pieces, according to the same principle.

Then 4 slightly larger petals.

And the largest petals are 5 pieces.

Then we knit a bud and sew the petals to it. Here the initial ring of air loops should be larger so that there remains a hole where we will then insert the wire stem. The bud needs to be stuffed tightly with padding poly.

Now we will sew the petals onto the bud. Remember that the hole for the stem should be at the bottom. We will sew it in layers, according to the number of petals of different sizes - that is, there will be four layers. You need to sew them on like this. First we sew half of the petal, then half of the second petal, then sew the second half of the first petal onto the second petal. And so on all three petals in a circle. It should look like this.

We sew the remaining petals using the same principle. Just try it on first, make sure the petals fit nicely. In the end it should look like this.

Now the stems and leaves. Cut the thin wire into pieces: two smaller and one larger. We knit leaves of a suitable shape. There are many diagrams of different leaves on the Internet, choose what you like, I won’t focus on it here. You need two more and four smaller leaves. We wrap the two smaller pieces of wire with floral tape. Then we begin to wrap the larger one and in the process we wrap the small stems crosswise several times to the large one, as in the photo.

Then glue the leaves to the stems. We take a thick wire for the main stem and also wrap it with floral tape, in the process wrapping a branch with leaves, according to the same principle - crosswise. I knitted the sepal without a pattern, a circle in single crochets, up to 30 loops, then each leaf separately - 6 loops at the base, in every third row we decrease 1 loop. Be sure to leave a hole in the middle for the stem. Then we put the sepal on the stem, thickly coat the tip of the stem with glue and stick it into the rose, trying to push it further away. We move the sepals to the rose and glue them.

Crocheted roses can be an excellent decoration for items of clothing and various accessories - bags, scarves. They can also be used as a brooch, to decorate children's hats and headbands, etc., you can decorate anything with these roses. Do not know, how to crochet a rose? I have prepared for you step-by-step master class for beginners.

For knitting you will need: yarn of two colors (I have Pekhorka 100% viscose), a hook, thread with a needle and scissors. The thicker the yarn, the more voluminous the knitted flower will be.

Thread purple we knit a chain of 48 ch.

1st row: insert the hook into the 6th loop of the chain from the hook and knit 1 tbsp. s/n,

skip 2 loops and knit 1 tbsp in the 3rd. s/n, 2 vp, 1 tbsp. s/n,

then we knit again * 1 ch, skip 2 loops and knit 1 tbsp in the 3rd stitch. s/n, 2 vp, 1 tbsp. s/n*

We continue to knit from * to the end of the row.

2nd row: at the end of the 1st row we knit 3 ch.

turn the knitting over and knit 1 tbsp. s/n in the arch of 2 vp. prev row,

then * knit 1 ch,

and into the next arch of 2 vp. prev row we knit 2 tbsp. s/n, 2 vp, 2 tbsp. s/n*

We knit from * to the end of the row, we knit the last 2 loops on the hook with pink thread.

3rd row: knit 3 v.p.p.

turn the knitting over and knit 3 tbsp. s/n in the arch of 2 vp. prev row,

we knit 1 connection. Art. in the arch from 1 ch. prev row,

*following we knit the arch 6 tbsp. s/n and 1 connection Art. in the arch from 1 ch. prev row*

Repeat from * 3 more times.

Repeat from * 3 more times.

*Next we knit the arch 10 tbsp. s/n, then 1 connection. Art.*

We knit from * 5 more times. The thread can be cut.

We roll our flower in a spiral.

We fix it in this position with a needle, carefully sewing all the layers of the first row from the wrong side.

This is what the base of my rose looks like.

Our flower is ready! We admire the result!

Depending on which side (front or back) you roll the knitted ribbon into a flower, the rose petals will turn out different (convex or concave).

You can knit this version of the flower with beads, it all depends on your creative idea. I decorated a children's hairpin with this rose.

The scope of application of knitted roses is truly extensive: attach a hair elastic to it and you have a stylish decoration. She can turn an inconspicuous hat into an elegant one, and an unremarkable sweater into an elegant robe. Crocheting roses is quick and interesting. Shall we get started?

To make a knitted rose, take:

any yarn (leftovers will do);

a hook that fits it in size;

sewing threads to match the yarn;

sewing needle;

base for the rose if you plan to turn it into a brooch or hair decoration.

Crochet rose: job description

Let me make a reservation right away that the final result depends largely on such seemingly small factors as the density of knitting, the correspondence of the hook to the selected yarn and the initial length of the air chain - the basis for the future knitted rose. I knit quite tightly and the rose looks tight. My mother knitted it using the same pattern - it turned out to be a completely different flower, perhaps more vibrant and natural.

So, step No. 1 is to knit a chain of air loops. The length is arbitrary, for a lush flower - from 20-25 cm.

The second row is knitted like this - 2 tbsp. with 1 yarn over in one loop, separated by 3 ch. Such double stitches are knitted through one loop along a chain of air loops. “Pairs” of columns are not separated (see diagram below).

Next row - 2 tbsp. with 1 double crochet, 3 ch, 2 tbsp. with 1 yarn over in each stitch from the chain loops of the previous row.

The beginning of the row is 7 tbsp. with 1 yarn over in each stitch from the chain loops of the previous row, for 5-6 stitches, and then - 7 tbsp. with 2 yarn overs in each loop from the chain loops of the previous row - to the end of the row.

Fasten the end of the yarn and trim it. We thread the needle with a thread matching the color of the yarn.

We begin to collect the rose from the edge where the petals are made from columns with one, not two, crochets. We wrap the edge into a spiral and begin to sew.

We sew to the end, if necessary, immediately hem the hair elastic.

Hello!

Today I have prepared for you a master class on how to crochet a rose.

For the rose, I chose pink and purple yarn Adelia “Valeri” (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 50g/146m) - I once knitted from it. We will also need green cotton threads for the leaves and stem, hooks No. 1.5 and 2.5, wire (thin and thicker), tape and scissors.

First we knit the petals of our rose according to pattern 1:

Using hook No. 2.5 we cast on 4 VPs, close them in a ring and knit 3 VP rises and 12 double crochets. At the end of the row, connect the column and again 3 VP lifting...

We take dark-colored yarn and knit 4 arches of 4 ch, attaching them with single crochets to every second stitch of the previous row.

We knit 7-8 such petals. I did not tie one of them with purple yarn (this will be the middle of the rose).

Using crochet hook No. 1.5, I cast on 8 VP (in the diagram - 10), closed it in a ring and knitted, starting each row with 3 VP rise:

1st row - 3 VP lifts and 9 double crochets (dc s/n),

2nd row - repeat * 2 treble s/n, 1 treble s/n *

3rd row - repeat * 2 treble s/n, 1 treble s/n, 2 treble s/n *

4th row - repeat * 2 treble s/n, 3 treble s/n, 2 treble s/n *.

The result is a “cup” like this:

1st row - 3 VP and 6 treble s/n, turn the work,

2nd row - 3 VP, 4 treble s/n, 2 treble s/n with a common top, turn the work,

3rd row - 3 VP, 4 treble s/n, turn the work,

4th row - 3 VP, 2 treble s/n, 2 treble s/n with a common top, turn the work,

5th row - 3 VP, 2 treble s/n, turn the work,

6th row - 3 VP and 2 treble s/n with a common top.

The diagram suggests knitting each leaf separately, cutting the thread each time. Because I don’t like to bother too much with tying knots and tucking in tails; I suggest knitting without tearing off the thread. To do this, having finished knitting a leaf, we “go down” in half-columns along its left edge, reach the cup and begin knitting the next leaf.

This way we get a star - a sepal of a knitted rose.

Now we knit the leaves according to pattern 3:

We start with 10 VP. Leave a tail of thread about 10 cm long.

Then 1 row - 1 VP rise, 2 treble crochets, 2 half crochets. s/n, 2 treble s/n, 2 half treble s/n, 2 treble s/n, 3 VP and repeat the same on the other side of the piece of paper.

Tie a half stitch at the top of the leaf. s/n, double crochet, double crochet in the arch from 3 VPs of the previous row, 3 VPs, 1 more double crochet stitch in the same arch and then the other side of the leaf symmetrically to the first.

Now we pull the tail of the thread, which we left at the beginning, onto front side at the top of the leaf,

and knit the following chain along the middle line:

Sew the sepals to the knitted rose:

Prepare a wire hook, tie a green thread to it and insert it into the middle of the rose.

Then we wrap the stem, as shown in the photo:

It turns out like this:

I first wrapped the junction of the branches with the stem with tape, and then wound the threads. I also carefully secured the ponytails at the bottom with tape.

Now you know how to crochet a rose.
