164. Controllers are appointed at checkpoints of enterprises, organizations, institutions in order to exclude uncontrolled entry (exit) of personnel of protected facilities and one-time visitors, entry (exit), import (export) material assets, passage of vehicles, as well as to constantly monitor the movement of material assets and exclude the possibility of unauthorized persons entering protected facilities, including using vehicles.

All checkpoints through which people and vehicles pass periodically are guarded by inspectors and reserve groups who act in accordance with the requirements of the access control regime established at the facility.

165. The controller at the checkpoint performs the task of protecting the post assigned to him in accordance with the post report card. He reports to the chief of the guard and his assistant.

Depending on the situation, by decision of the chief of guard, the controller may be involved in service in other posts not related to checkpoint functions, as a guard (gunner) or as part of a reserve group.

166. The controller at the checkpoint, in addition to what is stated in paragraphs 127 - 132, is obliged to:

Know and accurately comply with the requirements of the instructions on the access control established at this facility;

Be able to correctly use the technical access control equipment installed at the checkpoint;

Know the description and validity period of passes, signatures of persons authorized to sign them, and identification documents;
